We gather here today to honor Li Zephyr, who passed away on December 3rd of this year.

Zephyr was 15 years old when they passed. We will always hold the time we spent with them very dear to us in our hearts forever.

Zephyr was a member of the Li Family for a few months before they passed in their sleep. They will not be forgotten.

As I have stated before, let us always remember to cherish the time we have with the ones we love, however brief, and to never forget the children that are no longer with us.

If there is anyone who would like to speak about Zephyr, now is the time to take the podium.

So the lil sparrow i was taking care of ended up not making it (aka getting eaten by a goddamn mf rat) and so i rank this summer as the worst fucking one yet

Nuffink: Hey, big sis, look!

Zephyr: Nope nope nope! We’re not going there, Nuffink! Remember last time? You got a scratch on your knee because you kept tripping!

*pushes him backward, away from the ravine*

Nuffink: Please... Please please please! Just this time!

Zephyr: Nuffink, I’m sorry, we can’t. First of all, you get scratches everywhere you go, and second, I’m always taking the blame everytime something bad happens to you since I’m the oldest!

*Nuffink sighs*

Nuffink: Okay, fine.

*walks back home in despair*

Zephyr: Thank Thor! This is a miracle!

--this is the last night

everything was okay. he was having fun, he didn’t feel like running out of the ball. he was enjoying himself. it was satisfying to him-- how far he’d come. how he didn’t cop himself in his room everytime he could. how he had friends now. actual friends that cared for him, and who he cared about. and while some of them came and went, he’d never forget them. 

the moment everything started to violently shake, and everyone ran for safety he did the same. but it didn’t matter how scared he was, heart almost close to jumping out of his chest, the french man decided to help as many as people as he could. he could see some other students doing the same, he was glad that in moments like this, everybody became one. 

he figured right in that moment, his teleportation powers would’ve come really handy, but alas he had been one of the students to lose them. still, it didn’t stop him from carrying people to safe zones. 

zephyr was looking for more people that could’ve been hurt, when he saw someone a few meters away really close to a pole that looked like it was so close to giving away. “watch out!” he screamed as he sprinted as fast as his legs still allowed, the man tackled the person out of the way, but the next thing he felt was a severe pain in his chest, his vision getting blurry and then-- darkness.

zephyr sebastien de chateaupers wasn’t a hero, and he wouldn’t consider himself as such. he just wanted to make his parents proud-- and he had done so, since the moment he was born.

Hey Nezha! Sorry I haven’t visited in a bit, we had to deal with a… incident…

Wukong got possessed by a crystal. But it’s okay, we solved it! I, uh had a question.

How… How did you recover after loosing a kid…? If you don’t mind me asking…?

How did I... Oh, dear.

I wouldn't exactly call my methods of coping necessarily... effective. They have kinda... backfired... in the past... Anyways! I used to adopt more children but then I lost another...

I never meant it as replacing those lost, I just... y'know... needed a distraction. But then we lost Zephyr... and our last conversation was about me abandoning Mango like a fool...

I... it's still hard... I'm barely hanging on most days still. But my remaining children give me a bit of hope. Hope that I won't screw up like that again.

Having Frog and Cake Pop nearby helps a bit. Maybe pay Chang'e a visit, perhaps?

I really don't have any solid advice other than try not to think about it too hard.

There's no easy way to say this but...

Zephyr passed away.

They went away in their sleep due to health complications, likely an allergic reaction.

Their funeral will be held on Saturday at 3pm.

It's likely going to be just close family, but condolences are welcome.
