I am convinced our friendship ended because at some point you decided you should not be friends with a girl, which is probably wise because I had a mini crush on you. Plus, I was a non-Muslim non-Bengali girl with a non-dowry, so that would have gone nowhere.

Bittersweet farewell

Today I had the worst day. I was dreading seeing people because of having a bad time on Friday night and not knowing what people would twist the situation to be today and then I went out for dinner with a group of friends and basically had it confirmed that I can't even be friends with my ex best friend/former housemate. It only hurts so much because I'll always miss that we used to be friends even if we haven't seen eye to eye for a while. And I'll miss knowing that I had someone there to call at any hour of the day like I was still there for him a few weeks ago. And it hurts that he's taken to insulting me behind my back when just a couple of hours ago I was really trying to at least be civil and friendly. I guess tomorrow is just another day.

In your life.... there isn't much that stays constant. Not even the teeth in your own mouth, they all end up leaving you one day. Almost like people ain't it? I've grown to think that the people I meet will soon leave me one day, like the friends I supposedly have at the moment. People grow apart and its natural to say so, it's just sad that I have the guts to actually admit it. These are not words of bitterness, because just like teeth they'll always be apart of me. Lost near or far.
