Behold: my emo band. (Actually symphonic goth)

There’s currently four members of this band, including myself.

First there’s Wendy, my longtime bestie, we have been buddies since I think before we could really even talk. She’s stuck with me through thick and thin, even in the times when I pushed her away she welcomed me back with open arms. She’s a blessing, and she’s the cofounder of our band, Demolition Bringer. She’s the one who named it and I was the one who drew the logo. We started out on the emo/pop punk side of things, but found that with her vocals and songwriting/my composing, a sort of folk or symphonic goth (akin to Diva Destruction or Inkubus Sukkubus) is more fitting a genre.

Secondly there’s Jennie. Jennie is the drummer, she’s a marching band veteran and is literally so buff I can’t handle it. When Wendy and I were thinking of gothing up our music she came with CDs full of mixtapes of everything from Bauhaus and Souxie to Strange Boutique. It was inspiring, and really made the sound direction of DB clear. She also encouraged me to write more violin parts in the scores for myself. Which is really sweet of her because I am not a good keyboardist (;_;)

Last but not least is Laurie. Laurie’s the bassist, and she is the chillest person, she’s basically always got her base out and is strumming something on it. Both her and Jennie were me and Wendy’s upperclassmen in school, and I do not know what sort of bribe her parents paid her to get her to go to a catholic prep school but golly am I glad they did. She basically taught Wendy and I how to cuss, she’ll be someone’s cool mom or aunt someday I hope.
