Today, we have lost a great pet who was close to us. Logan, our cat, has left this earth too soon without any signs. The first time we had him was when we moved into our new house and kept him as our own, feeding him, hydrating him, bathing him and loving him. We have not found his body and we can't bury him to remember him. My aunt died last month and now my cat has left us. We are losing the ones we love too fast. I am very close to my family and seeing them leave is the hardest thing for me. So Logan, if you can hear us, we love you so much and we will never forget you. R.I.P #riplogan #cat

We had an unexpected visitor yesterday in our front yard...we took him to the vet and found out he was chipped but had some kind of neurological deficit that was affecting his hind legs. His chip linked back to the shelter that TNR'd him (trap-neuter-release). We found out he was only about a year old and that he never actually had a forever home, he must have sensed we were an animal-friendly place for him to hang out at. Unfortunately his health continued to decline, but we were able to at least provide him with a little bit of ❤️ before he passed on today. #RIPLogan #kittyheaven @jtjhio #ourcatforaday (at Logan Square, Chicago)
