Upon realizing that you’re stranded on this island far away from any civilization and that there isn’t a way for you to rayshift back to Chaldea, Gil would go into a small raging fit, blaming anyone but himself

‘Mongrel, this current situation is all your fault.’

Peng! - the first coconut you managed to pick up from the ground hits his head with a satisfying thud

and soon you’re throwing more fruits and insults at each other, with Gilgamesh dodging all your projectiles with ease and a sly smirk playing on his lips when he manages to throw you on your back and pin you down with his hands around your wrists

The tension between you two was almost tangible, with him staring at you a little too long, smiling at you for a moment too long, his ruby eyes darkening when his gaze landed on your lips

..and just when he was about to bend forward a little more you managed to free your arm and nudged him in his sides, making the King snort out in a not so king-like manner as he collapses with laughter

after you’re done torturing him with tickles (or as he calls his: recklessly shortening your own lifespan with your impertinent behavior) and plenty of kisses snuck in between because it’s Gil, you try to contact Romani again but to no avail

so for the time being you try to make the best out of your situation and build a shelter first, with Gil being surprisingly helpful at gathering materials because every time you wiggle with your fingers his stomach he just flinches in fear of your tickles

of course he’s still impatient to get back, save the world and overwork himself as usual, but after a while he realizes just how lucky he is to be able to have some quality time just with you

so he pulls you on his lap after you’re done making dinner and compliments you for your splendid cooking and how grateful he is to be here with you, emphasizing each of his words with kisses trailed along your neck while his hands are playing with your hair

therefore Gil wouldn’t be so pleased when Romani suddenly manages to contact you and rayshifts you back when things were starting to get..interesting, but oh well, there’s also a next time and for now you two could continue your time together in his chambers~
