You know what time it is. Genuinely though it took me so long to actually watch this, part because I was busy and part because I really wanted to have the time to actually watch this in one go and have enough time to take breaks if needed. Finally got it!

Just looking at the thumbnail and the title I'm scared and excited in equal measure

- what a fucking way to start the episode. The sound design is amazing tho

- i love that Grizz is showing that releasing the evil really did have consequences. Also can't help but feel like, whatever victory Gillion is going to claim over his own guilt, it's going to be pretty rough when they actually get to the surface and see what's going on

- CEDRICCCC i love him. I hate that he's in this situation. Like this is actually heartbreaking

- i've said it before but Grizzly is such a great storyteller I have chills

What a fucking episode. A lot of things happened but still weirdly a lighter episode than the past few ones and I really enjoyed it!

Decided to do a liveblog on my 123 listen and I put them all in one place, so

- god the way Grizzly is reading Odelath's thoughts. I'm getting chills. The conviction and power?? And the worst part is that HE'S NOT WRONG. The smartest choice IS to unify! And I really, really do get the choices he makes from his standpoint and personal beliefs!! He thinks that the sacrifices he makes (like, idk, Gillion) are the necessary ones!!! However it also is really fucked up!!!!

- hit unpause only for the crew to immediately say the same thing lmao

- Gillion's calm emotions speech is simultaneously really funny and absolutely horrifying. The numb explanation on how and why Odelath tried to get him out of the way followed by the acknowledgement that for all this time Odelath has been trying to kill the thing that Gillion just freed.

- "But what if it also means saving the world?" DON'T DO THIS TO ME. GILLION. AUGHHHH i think he's about to fully relapse back into the self-sacrifical and passively suicidal mindset we love to see it

- and the way the memory makes sense. Because it's not truly his memory but it's now in his head. The memory of someone who's convinced that Gillion Tidestrider needs to die (or at least be out of the way). I feel like there's some parallel to the Felipe situation in here

- it's actually terrifyingly true that the articial leviathan would have the power to control everything. Extrapolating from that, so does anything that could cure the corruption. It really seems like there's no way to cure the corruption without creating a new threat to the world at the same time (except, you know, there was that one chance to kill it. Ha. Ha ha. Fuck.)

- OH THEY DO HAVE IT ALL,,,, pirates, undersea/moon, navy/sun and the world tree

- "Because I used to be like that" CHARACTER GROWTH!!!

- the scene. With Celeste and Odelath and baby Gillion. Is so UNBELIEVABLY fucked up oh god I had to take a break just because of it. Gillion has been breaking himself for years and failing over and over and over again and it's because he was sabotaged?? By the one person who comforted him??

- the character motivations and personalities in this are also insane and coming through so well through the dialogue, massive props to Grizzly!!! Odelath trying to sway Celeste into thinking that maybe the prophecy is wrong, while Celeste sees the potential in Gillion and can't figure out why it keeps going wrong

- also crying at the fact that the worst case scenario that Odelath is proposing (Gillion leading something terrible back to the Undersea) is kind of true rn

- the way he's still so protective over Gillion im going to cry

- i love the way the plan is unraveling bit by bit
