"I've Missed You"
Yes I most certainly can my dear (hope your okay with me calling you that)
With Riptide

You had stayed at the Deep Palace for exactly 1 year, 2 months, 2 weeks, and 4 days. At some point you had gotten sick of constantly guarding the Hatchery, but Queen Coral had said you were the only Hatchery guard actually doing your job and not letting her down.
Sure you liked your job, it was peaceful, you only interacted with dragons when they walked past the Hatchery (and when you were paired with another guard). One of the parts you didn't like was watching how many guards Queen Coral had "disposed" of. It tore your heart up.
You were ecstatic when Queen Coral had relived you of duty (without killing you) and replaced you with a guard you didn't know anything about other than they would have to deal with Moray now.
You shot through the tunnel entrance to the Summer Palace and then three dragon lengths up in the air feeling oxygen flood your lungs. Your eyes scanned over the clearing. Searching. And then Queen Coral made eye contact with you and motioned you over.
You flapped over and landed near the thrones. You quickly bowed and greeted the queen and princess. "Queen Coral it's great to see you after such a long time. And it's very nice to meet you Princess Anemone." You gave a quick grin to Anemone, you hadn't met her before but you had heard good things from Moray.
"It's very nice to see you again too." She paused to think and then added "I'd like you to introduce yourself to Tsunami? She's my missing dragonet." She signaled in Aquatic to me She's quite smart. You finally took notice of the dragonets there, they all seemed strange in different ways.
There was a Nightwing who seemed more interested in the floor then making eye contact with you (which was understandable you didn't exactly look like the friendliest of the Seawings), there was a small Sandwing, minus the venomous tail, there was a Rainwing, you quite liked the shades of blue nearly identical to the blue of your scales pulsing over her scales, you nodded your head as a greeting, there was a Mudwing but he looked more like a gentle giant than an enemy, and then there was him.
Riptide was there too. You sat in stunned silence. You hadn't seen him in so long. When your brain returned from wherever it had gone to you you ran to Riptide and pulled him into a hug with so much force he almost fell off the ledge.
You pulled back just enough to rest your foreheads and the bases of your horns against each other. Riptide wrapped his tail around yours as if to say "this is real, not a dream". You smiled softly now that you were reunited with your lover.
"I've missed this." You sigh out softly but you hear Anemone gag as though she heard you. Which she probably did. You turned to look at the other dragons around you. If your scales could turn red with embarrassment you'd be the color of bright red coral,
"Sorry." You muttered out to go introduce yourself to Tsunami. "I'm {Name}. I was uh, Head of guarding the Hatchery for a little over a year. I've just gotten back. Um it's nice to meet you." You gave Tsunami a small wave of your front talons as a greeting, which she returned quickly.
"{Name}. You and Riptide are dismissed. Go do couple things, be sweet. I'll see you tomorrow." Queen Coral added a wink to the last sentence. You didn't know what she was implying but you and ignored it and left with Riptide.
"I've missed this too." Riptide murmured out as he wrapped your tails together again. You two bumped shoulders with a soft chuckle.
