(brrroooooo this is so short. anyways@howdoiwork I really hope you enjoy this dear (hope your okay with me calling you that))

(small explanation. in this reader is like Peril in the "yeah I ate my sibling's fire in the equivalent of dragon womb" way; so you and Peril could touch without one or the other melting)

Things had started out normal. Queen Scarlet had found some new dragonets for the arena. Completely normal right? Well at least it had been until you and Peril had decided to help said dragonets escape.

So currently you were laying on a rather large log with Peril, with one of her wings draped over you. At some point Kestrel had made some snarky remark to which you and Tsunami in sync told her to shut up.

You nuzzled your face in between Peril's wing and side. "Y'know; we could get arrested for this." You pointed out, slightly muffled by Peril's body.

"We could probably get executed for this." Tsunami said. At that Glory mumbled something about how that was probably only true if the Queen was still alive. Most of the dargonets were hoping for the possibility of Queen Scarlet still being alive, but Glory was well aware of the effect her venom has on dragons.

"I think we should probably get out of the area." You mused after moving your head so you could sit back on your back legs. Most of the dragonets just nodded.

"You're right about that {Name}." Peril stated. From that point on you drowned everything out. At some point Peril noticed you admiring her and smiled at you. You could both see it in each others eyes, you were both so happy to be free and away from Queen Scarlet's wrath.

So I wrote down and typed out all of this in the span of like 20 minutes tops and like brooo my hands hurt like fuck

-- Hot take but Jasper would not care at all if you're plus size or not.

-- Like all Jasper wants is to do is love you.

-- If you are ever feeling insecure he'll cuddle you or comfort you until you feel better.

-- Will invite you to every baseball game that his family has so that you can come and cheer everyone on (you weren't allowed to play since none of the vampires wanted to accidentally hurt the only human there (plus none of them wanted to suffer Jasper's wrath if they had hurt you))

-- When Victoria and her squad just "happened" to stumble into town and showed up at the game Jasper had you pulled away from the unfamiliar vampires almost immediately. This piqued James' interest but not more then Bella did.

-- Through all of the ensuing shenanigans there wasn't a second Jasper let you leave his side, except when they went into the ballet studio then you were forced to wait outside by the car.

-- When Jasper inevitably got a little overwhelmed by the smell of Bella's blood you distracted him by talking about random things you like.

-- If you ever ask him how he feels about your size he would tell you no hesitance that all he cares about is your happiness.

-- Will not let the shifters near you whatsoever. He doesn't want them to hurt you at all.

-- If anyone ever makes a mean comment about you or look at you the wrong way Charlie's gonna be putting up missing flyers up the next day.

-- When the Volturi came around looking for Rennesme Jasper was really conflicted. He didn't want you around the Volturi in case a fight broke out, but he didn't want to leave you behind because if a Volturi member sneaked away and to the Cullen family home they could kill you.

-- So you were pulled tightly into Jasper's side during the entire thing, and when Aro had asked "Could I talk to them?" Jasper's voice was firm and threatening when he responded with a very loud and clear "No.".

-- All in all nobody got hurt (physically at least) that day, you and Jasper cuddled for hours after

As someone who ran track and cross country for 4 years in high school, this always fucking mystified me the most out of all the insane shit PE had us do.

Track and field club taught all new runners how to properly warm up, stretch, pace, etc. Its a process, and doing it properly takes 15-20 minutes to make sure your body is ready so you dont hurt yourself.

PE didnt do jack shit, they just said "go run a mile" so 70% of the fucking kids sprinted flat out the first lap and basically walked the other 3. Multiple people did it in boots or tennis shoes. I'm amazed more of them didnt pull a muscle or worse in the process.

I dont know what the purpose of PE was, but it sure as shit wasnt proper exercise. And I think a lot of people suffered for that. If they spent the time teaching us about the importance of physical health, proper nutrition, how to safely stretch/exercise, etc, we would all be better off now.

1. Hey, I just saw the ask from your anarchy anon and I have to say that I'm exactly how they describe the reader's excitement. I start flailing my hands and arms, because the emotions are too strong and too much to just get them out by smiling or talking. It's like I have to get them out physically, otherwise I get overwhelmed by them, which can result in an overload for me (but this is also because I'm neurodivergent)
