Regrann from @meilanijdarby - We are literally 9 days away from the most important decision I’ll ever make from this point to forever! Most of you don’t know this, but the day Kevin and I got together, was the same day I had made a decision to leave his life forever and never talk to him again. Lol. He was purposely very rude to me in the beginning and I had had enough quite honestly. I didn’t know at the time that he was doing that on purpose to try and keep himself from liking me, but I was still over it! Lol but then, as I begin to walk out his house for the final time, he stopped and wouldn’t let me go. He insisted that I stay because he wanted to spend time with me. I said, ok, fine, and stayed. As that day went on we talked and learned about each other. And by the end of the day we were officially in a relationship lol! That day literally set the tone for our relationship because there were times later when I was so angry and ready to walk out and this man refused to let pride hold the door open for me. He continuously fought for me and for us, which really challenged me to humble myself and try too. This man fought for us like he knew he was fighting for his wife, his family and his future. He refuses to quit fighting and doing whatever it takes to see to it that we are strong and I love him for that. There was NO THING that anyone could possibly pinpoint as the reason why I got this man, other than the grace and love of God and I’m okay with that. Our entire relationship there is not a single person ANYWHERE that can say it’s because of them that we are who we are. Nobody introduced us. Nobody convinced us that we should be together. It was literally God all the way. Don’t ask me the prayer I prayed, don’t ask me how long I fasted, don’t ask me how hard I cried for a husband, because I did ZERO of that. Ask me how merciful my God is. Ask me how His grace has given me such a man FOR FREE. Ask me how He loves me so much that He blessed me with a man I hadn’t even believed I deserved.
