Happy 1 year anniversary to Rising Eclipse being finished! And it's my birthday!

While i take a short break, here are what a few of the others look like.

I swear i never draw Sun enough. Compared to the others here, i've only done maybe 5 digital Sun pieces.

Fun fact: Moon is the shortest one out of the three. Sun and Lunar are the same height.

In this order: Calm, Chaotic, Combined

Chaotic is bigger than Calm by a bit when they are individuals. I never gave them proper names. I don't want to use extremely common names i've seen for them either. Raptor is a name i've bounced around for Calm. Never came up with one for Chaotic though.

Edit: eh, screw it. Calm's name is Raptor, and Chaotic's name is Badger

I went back to reread Rising Eclipse and i got to this part in Chapter 1, and realized, it would make a nice little drawing, so i drew it.

And have a look at how RE! Eclipse's soul originally looked.

Rising Eclipse Notes part 2.

One screenshot is partially scribbled out because that bit is spoilery for what's coming since it isn't something i have revealed yet, and won't. You'll have to wait and see in the Blood Moon arc ;)

Originally Backup was not supposed to survive, but after several asks came in about him, i figured it would be wasted potential for a good antagonist/villain if i let him die, so I brought him back. He plays a major role now.

The crossed out bit was where I would have had Starstrike forcefully take control of Eclipse's body while he was dead. That was fonna be how he was revealed, but i felt that was way too much and way too sudden. Especially now that i have it to where Starstrike barely knows anything at this point in the au and is still actively developing as a person, so that idea was scrapped really quickly. What does still hold somewhat true is the fact that Starstrike may leave Eclipse willingly if he backtracks to his old ways, but I have also developed their bond so much that it would take quite a lot for Starstrike to actually leave him. Luckily this is not going to happen. Eclipse doesn't want to ever go back to how he used to be. He hates his past self, and is glad he made the effort to change for the better.

The bit with chapter titles is thanks to @thedemonsurfer. You gave me the ideas for those lol (thank you!)

The bit with Eclipse's white eye changing yellow if Starstrike is influencing him in some way is also true. It isn't very often though.

Oh, and also, i am probably going to release the start of the next arc today too.

As promised, here are the notes I made during Rising Eclipse's development.

Today is Rising Eclipse's anniversary! I know Ao3 says that it was published Dec 3rd, but since i'm kinda a sucker for funny little occurances i take notice of, I have this.

That's how i found out it's actually today and not tomorrow. I also will explain the notes and why i made the changes i did.

Fair warning: some of these notes mention suicide in this first part. Second part will have stuff from after it changed so no need for a warning there. 17 total screenshots.

The message that started this whole au to begin with.

This was the original story concept

This was the original plot after i split up the concept events. In the original version, Sun, Moon, and Lunar were supposed to see them in the middle of their fight. Moon mentioned he had a tracker to track down Eclipse's backups before on the show, so I used that for this. And yes, this was also before I created Starstrike. So, Eclipse also originally had a regular battery. The whole thing about making him sleep in the playstructure under the balcony was also because they didn't trust him yet. They thought he may tamper with them which was why. (Glad I changed that..) Eclipse also was suicidal to an extent in the original. Another thing I am glad i changed.

Also, the mention of the battery part being removed is true. I removed a whole chunk of Chapter 3 (Part 4 in the fic) talking about him charging his battery in the recharge station befor egoing to fix himself and changed it to what it currently is.

And these are the first few changes that were made. Yea, i used to refer to Starstrike as he/him in these, but they have always been genderless. It also has the original one-shot idea that later became Star Trail.
