Good Morning Copenhagen! Enjoying my morning coffee from Risteriet, our local corner coffee shop. We arrived last night at 9pm. We took the train into Central Station, and met our Australian Air B&B host, Inez, at our apartment. Inez divides her time between Copenhagen and Vienna, with her husband and baby. The place is lovely, with light, unfinished wood floors, white comfortable modern furniture (think linen slip covers), and a beautiful modern renovated kitchen. Last night we ate dinner at Mother, a wonderful pizza shop where you sit on picnic tables and eat thin flatbreads - mine was the capricossa with an egg on top. The joy of our night is that Grace ran into an old LA friend from UCLA who was visiting with her husband and 7 month old baby boy! They joined us for a drink and got to catch up on life. Her husband is a writer (and lawyer by day). Chance encounters on the streets of Copenhagen.
