Okay Rito I am gonna need MORE of these two PLEASE
Their dynamic is amazing. Judging by the quote here, there is definitely some kind of trust and loyalty between them. Draven taking in and supporting Swain after his defeat at Placidium is everything to me, and Jericho supporting a messy drunk Draven is just perfect.
also I could totally see Swain gaining Darius's trust/loyalty through Draven, especially after the coup where Swain trusted Draven enough to play a part in. Therefore seeing him as a pawn in the grand scheme of conquest, using him as an ends to a means. But at the same time appreciating Draven for, well, being Draven. He doesn't bow to authority like everyone else does, he doesn't cower in fear when most people would, and he definitely talks to Jericho as he would any other friend. It must be so refreshing.
Even if Draven is a bit egotistical and annoying, Swain knows he can trust him. (Also Draven doesn't have a scheming bone in his body, he is so forthright that Swain can trust he would never betray him.)
Draven was there for him at his absolute worst, the lowest time of his entire life; having been outcast, disgraced, stripped of his social standing and probably also his family status, riches and land. He had nothing, but Draven still supported him. Draven also knows what it was like to have nothing, being an orphan from the streets of Basillich.
Draven dragging Swain out to the bars is an absolutely novel idea I HAVE to see. Rito please. I need More of them!!!
