1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

I just think he's really well written! ONE is so fucking good at writing complex characters, especially teens, and I just really think he nailed it with ritsu. also I have a horrible soft spot for sibling dynamics in shows, so it was only inevitable that I'd get extremely attached to the kageyama siblings lmao

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

I WILL NEVER LET ANYONE FORGET THAT HE CANONICALLY DOESN'T LISTEN TO MUSIC. IT'S THE FUNNIEST SHIT IN THE UNIVERSE. ritsu listening to mcr is out, ritsu listening to 10 hour white noise loops is in

3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?

uhhhhh. man I can't really think of anything. I like him a lot, and I think all his weird quirks and flaws and mistakes all add flavor. idk. my least favorite canon thing is that he didn't talk to tome enough. I don't have an answer for this one.

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

I'll be real. I tend to be a canon > fanon person, and sometimes the fandom decides to fixated on only a handful of traits when a character is in canon much more complex. so like there are a lot of things the fandom does with ritsu that I find kind of annoying because it flattens his character. however, there are some things that the fandom explores that we don't get to see much of in canon, like him hanging out more with mob (especially post canon!) and I am very fond of that sort of thing. brothers my beloveds <3

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

[smacks him] THIS BAD BOY CAN FIT SO MUCH NEURODIVERSITY IN HIM. he is absolutely autistic and undiagnosed, and I think he probably also is in the muddy gray zone between autism and ocd where you're not sure which one is happening. no I'm not projecting what are you talking about. he's also absolutely got sensory issues and hyperempathy

21. If you're a fic writer and have written for this character, what's your favorite thing to do when you're writing for this character? What's something you don't like?

already answered this earlier but I can come up with something else! I guess related to what I just said, I love getting to squeeze my headcanons into my writing. I like writing little details like him stimming or avoiding eye contact because it's my city and I can do what I want, and also because it just fleshes out a scene/character!
