Rose of Jericho at Ritual Cravt.

Resurrection Ferns, otherwise known as Jericho Rose, have long been used in rebirthing spellwork. Each fern starts off brown, dry, and curled into itself. Place your fern in a shallow dish of water, and it will unfurl and open into a beautiful forest green plant. Traditionally these unique plants are used at a time when a new beginning is in order, on the New Moon, or when a “rebirth” is sought.

i realized i’ve taken an inordinate amount of available courses & never shared much of my thoughts on them, i’ll be prepping a thorough review later but welcome feedback on the categories!

courses i’ll be reviewing:

the herbal academy’s introductory & intermediate courses, and “becoming an herbalist” mini course

lindsay mack’s soul tarot school mini courses (i’ve taken quite a few; i’m starting her full tarot course on beltane so will update with a review of it later this year)

ritualcravt’s mini course on breaking the binary in tarot court cards

might include milk street’s cooking courses — but might focus on the witchcraft courses listed above — i welcome thoughts on this!!

as for the reviews, i plan to review them on:

accessibility for ppl with disabilities

cost & value (whether the amount paid was worth it)

ease of use (was the info presented in thoughtful ways/how was the course structured)

topic thoroughness

delivery system (was it on a website, via app, etc)

but let me know if anyone has other topics they want covered!

also, if you have taken the revamped version of the herbal academy’s intro or intermediate class, please reach out to me! i took the original versions and would love to have an idea of whether they fixed the original problems!

Witchy Haul!!!!

I mostly wanted to talk about the first picture the most, because the finds were so great!

I got almost everything in the top picture from Ritualcravt in Denver. A friend recommended them to me and I was not disappointed. The vibe of the store was great; not creepy or pushy or nosey or anything. Small place, super chill, with a surprisingly wide variety of stuff. They also have an etsy store where they sell spell pouches, but the brick-and-mortar place has a lot more to offer. The candles, candle holders (2 ceramic ones, 2 greyish metal ones), rough garnets, and oracle deck are from there; they threw in the little citrine (I think) piece free. I assume they either do it with every purchase? I spent about $66 on everything, so it may also have to do with how much you spend. But either way, it was never specified.

A comment on the deck; it’s a fairly small deck and all of the cards have somewhat anatomical related imaged with a single word/concept at the bottom. I am excited to play with these.

The three metal bowls, cup, and black dish were all thrifted from Arc. I was hurting for cheap, durable offering dishes that could hold liquid and/or food and they were all less than 3 dollars a piece. 

The last two pictures are just the Kemetic altar and the personal/fae/home altar with the goods distributed among them.
