"River" is so good! I'm honestly gutted that not more people know about it or have watched it

It is good!  I think it follows the Kudos formula that they used for Spooks: uneven, twist-heavy writing and a fantastically deep cast that can pull it off.

Also I don’t know why but Kudos seems determined that Nicola Walker’s character has to be die...(Not over it. Ruth Evershed 5 ever!!!)

The look really reminded me of Spooks as well. Lots of blues and grays with filtered flat light, contrasted with harsh interiors. It was beautifully filmed, mostly in central London. I about lost my mind when they went to the Globe Theater.  

Stellan’s performance is amazing across all six episodes and I think it’s really too bad that there was only one series of the show. It’s a clever idea and such a wonderful showcase for a lot of talent.
