So I’ve got a question about trigger order. Say I have a Vannifar, a River Kelpie, and a Murderous Redcap out. If I sac Redcap to Vannifar for her ability, what order does everything happen in? Do I tutor first(Vannifar), or do I deal damage/draw a card off the return/etb first(Redcap/Kelpie)

Sacrificing a creature is a cost to activate Vannifar's ability, which is already on the stack by the time you sacrifice your Murderous Redcap. This means that Redcap's persist trigger will go on the stack above Vannifar's activated ability and resolve first. Once Murderous Redcap has returned to the battlefield, both its own enters the battlefield trigger and River Kelpie's first ability will trigger. You can stack these triggers in any order you like, but they all go on the stack above Vannifar's ability.

I'm planning on a muldrotha edh deck once dominaria hits. Why, when having river kelpie out, does the second trigger activate but not the first? How does it not count going to the stack from the graveyard as entering play from the graveyard?

River Kelpie’s first trigger will trigger when you play a land from your graveyard with Muldrotha. Its second trigger will trigger when you cast an artifact, creature, enchantment, or planeswalker from your graveyard with Muldrotha.

When you cast a permanent spell from your graveyard, the card moves from your graveyard to the stack and then from the stack to the battlefield when it resolves. This doesn’t trigger River Kelpie’s first ability because those permanents are entering the battlefield from the stack, not from the graveyard.

For River Kelpie’s first ability to trigger on a nonland permanent entering the battlefield, it needs to be entering the battlefield directly from the graveyard, not from the stack. Reanimation spells and the like will do this.

If I were to use any mass reanimation spell like living death and I bring back a river kelpie, would I draw a card for each creature that enters the battlefield or would I only draw one card for the kelpie entering? Thanks in advance for answering!

Living Death is a bad example here, since the cards are exiled from the graveyard then enter the battlefield from exile, not the graveyard.

Something like Rise of the Dark Realms, though, will have River Kelpie triggering for each creature that came back.
