Verspar Blackthorn, a character for Blades In The Dark. Our GM had us design characters who I’m told will appear in the book since he’s one of the backers for it on Kickstarter.
Vespar is blind and talks to ghosts. He’s on a quest to find his lost twin sister.
#IcarusOfTheStarSky
The updated portraits I did for Icarus from my comic story, Icarus of the Star Sky. Icarus is a fallen star who lands in a world devoid of human life. There he meets pixies and another fallen star, Altair.
Official design for the first of my secondary Crowhollow characters, Vir, who /should/ have had his hair slicked back for work and political appearances more often the way it is in the final slide, but it looked so hideous I couldn’t stick with it and so all the wild curly goodness stayed firmly put. I never drew him with his hair slicked back again. I regret nothing.
Old old sketch from 2019, this is my character Tiija before her redesign. She was originally a tiefling, bound for a dnd campaign. Things have changed and you’ll see her design drastically updated, but she’s a faun now, bound for a custom build ttrpg system.
#ShouldTheEndGreetOurSouls
A sketch of young Luciel, the rebel of Trelle. Despite his age, Luciel quickly became one of the leaders of the rebellion. No one knows why, but he has valuable information on the Order of Heltas—information that just might tip the scales of the rebellion.
Carrying on the theme of those character sheet arts—here was Hawthorne’s, where, as you can see he finally became short, was meant to be from the start. It’s a testament to how far my art came even in a time when I felt I wasn’t getting much done. Anatomy really came a long way.
Kneut from the star themed inktober. The prompt of the day was vessel, which suits him since he is canonically a magic vessel.
