i’m just gonna say it
I felt 20 times more uncomfortable watching Riverdale than I did watching Outer Banks.
I just, I couldn’t do it. I made it to season 3 I think and it just bothered me so much. First of all, the plot line gets completely lost in all of the “romance” and drugs and shit. Second of all, they sexualize the teens in the show so much. And it’s so disturbing to watch because they are close in age to me. I get it, they’re played by adults but I don’t see any kids at a normal high school dancing on stripper poles or whatever(they could be, but I don’t think it’s that likely) I know that adults play the teens in OBX too, but they only reference sex like twice, aside from jokes. So yeah idk, hate on me all you want. Riverdale is overhyped trash. G’bye.
