Rewatching Riverdale and...UNPOPULAR OPINIONS - Mini Rant.

I’m like two or three episodes in to the significantly shittier second season and it’s the one where Betty is legitimately worried that Kevin is gallivanting around the bushes while a killer is on the loose. - I DO understand Kevin’s point, I see what he means by how he’s the only openly gay kid and all that jazz. HOWEVER, I in no way do I agree with how he treats Betty who is just genuinely worried about him fucking DYING. And to an extent, what Kevin was doing was kind of trashy, if the roles were reversed and it was Betty or (if i’m keeping it in the same sex couple kinda thing) CHERYL running around the bush to get laid, it would be like ew. Maybe that’s just a personal opinion about sex. AS I DIGRESS. Kevin completely SHUNS Betty because she told his Dad what he’s been doing (let’s be honest, in the show they’re teenagers and if I found out MY kid was doing that holy sweet jesus I would fucking lose my mind.) - I’ve come to the realization that I’m not the biggest fan of Kevin and how he treats people. I don’t think being gay is an excuse for treating people like shit, I know plenty of gay people, hell I’m on the spectrum and they’re/I’m not nearly as nasty as he is to people lmao. I also blame this on shit writing because one minute the character feels one thing and the next they don’t give a shit about it but whatever. - I’m very hopeful that season three is better, but judging by the trailer it’s no less radical. My hopes for Riverdale consist of:

• For the show to relax. There is just TOO much happening.

• Kevin Keller becoming a decent human being and living up to the ‘best friend’ he was to Betty in the Pilot. He has a lot of good moments, but he is not consistent with his personality.

• Varchie breaks up cause they’re awful.

• Jughead and Betty break it off, but remain close because I truly love their friendship, just not their romance. But they’re a badass duo you feel?

• CHONI. CHONI. CHONI. CHONI. CHONI.

• Archie living up to his title of ‘best friend’ to Betty.

• Obviously Barchie, since I was a little, reading the comics it has always been Barchie for me.

• God damn give me some FALICE🖤🐍

• Cheryl having a GOOD plot line and less deleted scenes???

• Veronica to have less scenes.

• Betty to be given a break lmao

• Hiram Lodge to get knocked the fuck out.

• Archie to be a good character.

• More Josie pls 🐱💜

I know very well that I will have people who agree with me and also disagree. But for the people who get triggered, please don’t bother commenting, I don’t want your energies on my post lol - I have a right to have my opinions, just as you have yours. I simply ask that you respect me enough to just keep scrolling babes. If you just can’t handle that, then don’t let the door hit you on the way out.

Still not super on board with this ship, but I SHORT TERM ship it…I started feeling it when he was helping her with the body and what not, then FP was helping and I just felt very warm and in a morbid way that was all very cute. Plus like Falice is low key a thing and I’m here for it…

Okay. So I'm all caught up. I do like Riverdale, but It's gotten crazy. I have so many questions. XD my only real complaint is that I feel like certain storylines don't flow as well as others. Am I the only one who thought it was weird all the main girls had a slumber party at Sheryl' s when I feel like most of them do 't like each other much? I don't know. XD

Don't get me wrong. I do like the show and I'm gonna still watch! But certain things are weird. I will say though, I do love Serpent Jughead. Ready to cut a bitch for his girl. Lol!
