#HappyBirthdayToMe & #HappyMothersDay: Happy 32nd Birthday to me & Happy Mother’s Day to my Mother and my friends & family who are mothers!! Hope you are having a great day today!!! I’m thankful to celebrate my 32nd Birthday at Riverfront Park in Troy,NY with my Mom & a few friends who were at Sunday’s “Make It Up State” @makeitupstate festival!! My friend, Jenny @balloongaljenny made me a “Happy Birthday” balloon crown, made Mom’s Mother’s Day wand, and treated me to a piece of cheesecake, Kenny & Lori of “Closet Classics” sung Happy Birthday to me & played some good tunes, brought Mom to The Whistling Tea Kettle for crepes for her first visit there to eat, and got our $0.50 cent ice cream cones for Mother’s Day on my way home!!! It was a nice afternoon well spent with Mom!! Thank you Jenny for the cheesecake & your balloon art, thank you “Closet Classics” for your song, & thank you Mom for a great afternoon!! It’s a new fire breathing apparatus used by fire department volunteers & staff for breathing during fire calls. #HappyFirstDayofSpring everybody! Although today in Upstate NY, it didn't feel like spring at all with all of the cold air & the snow that we've received all winter!! It felt like winter all over again! Tonight, I took a walk through Riverfront Park in Downtown Troy, NY and viewed the nice sunset after I was finished with work & attended my piano lesson! The park still looked nice even though it was still covered in snow!! Looking forward to warmer days & green grass to come to us this season!! Happy Spring!
