Riverwoods presents: The Vagabond

"The Vagabond" is an English version of the Swedish song "Vandraren" by million-selling Swedish songwriters Py Bäckman and Mats Wester, who makes up the duo Nordman with singer Håkan Hemlin.
Mats has worked with the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Eric Bazilian ("The Hooters") and Ritchie Blackmore ("Deep Purple").
The original Swedish version “Vandraren” was featured on Nordman’s self-titled debut album which sold over half a million copies in Sweden, which is equivalent to over 15 million copies in the United States, i.e. on par with Eagles’ “Hotel California”.

The song tells the story about a man who must find a way to continue his journey despite the hardships he has faced, as sung with the chorus lines "Pain runs deep, you must walk on, letting go of what is gone, pain runs deep, you must walk on, you belong to the road you're a vagabond".
