The hardest part of drawing nwhl players is finding a good photo. There are just so few good ones!

5. if you could change the name of a team, which team and what would you change their name to?

The obvious one I don’t really care what it gets changed to. What’s the Illinois state flower, violets? Do that. Or they can go the Avs/Canes route and go for local natural disasters. Do y’all get tornadoes in the Windy City. The Chicago Violets sounds way cooler than Tornadoes tho, imo.

I think plenty of other teams have stupid names but I am most passionate about NYI changing back to the Long Islanders. Sure it was barely a team name but a) there was only one New York and b) made a modicum of fucking sense.

Of course, Braden Holtby is a Washington Capital. So I have to do another one.

Uhhhhh P. K. Subban and Saroya Tinker? Do I have to think they’d play well together? They’re my favorite non-cap defensemen so I am saying it counts.
