The M.O.M commander product gave us a new cards related to planes walkers in expertness and paths. While the expertness cards are interesting but straight forward, the paths I think a low for more interesting creative with regards to fan walkers. So my question is, what is your ocs path?

I went ahead and made a cycle of five monocolored paths.

(These were designed flavor/concept first, so I'm not 100% sure about balance, but it's the idea that counts.)

Path of the Channeler: Takumi, moonfolk artificer, accompanied by her kami Suzu; scenes of Kamigawa, Ikoria, and New Phyrexia.

Path of the Glistener: Xena, Phyrexian rogue, partially in her compleated form, with Mirrodin/New Phyrexia, Kamigawa, and Kaladesh.

Path of the Bonereaper: Amaranth, half-elf cleric, in her Witherbloom uniform and scythe, with Arcavios and Innistrad.

Path of the Transmuter: Riyuna, moonfolk shaman, accompanied by their kami and the spectral koi that represent their three material affinities (elemental, biological, artificial), with Kamigawa and Dominaria(?)

Path of the Horizon Walker: Borealis, changeling ranger, with an arrow nocked in their Littjaran wood bow, walking through an aurora with Kaldheim's many realms around them (including Valla, the lost realm/independent plane).

63. Is there a fan character from another person that you would like them to meet? Who?

The easiest answer for this is that I'd be interested in any and all other Phyrexian planeswalkers meeting Xena Gitaxias-Vadri, who as her new name implies is now fully compleated. These include but are not limited to @trulyantitonic's Vasil, @edspear's yet unnamed(?) Capennan infiltrator, and @dawncharm's K'golix. My DMs are always open for OC talk!!

96. What do they think of each of the five iconic creature types? (Angels, Sphinxes, Demons, Dragons and Hydras)

I recall answering this question about Navika in a previous round of this ask game, boiling down to her assessing the graft usability of their various body parts.

Borealis: believes that all of them have their place in a balanced Multiverse, and like colliding realms and planes, all creature types ought to be held in their most natural state of harmony. They do note, however, that demons are difficult to deal with and they need to resort to violence more often there.

98. Do they have a signature weapon?

Xena: Gitaxian chrome rapier, pilfered from the Lumengrid armory and reinforced with the plates of some unfortunate victim she drained dry. They were a war criminal anyway. Maybe.

Borealis: Bow carved in elegant natural patterns of Littjaran wood, shaped by Skemfar elven woodworkers as a present of gratitude after Borealis defended their realm during a Doomskar.

Riyuna (very new walker, description post coming soon!): Golden filigree crossbow of Kaladeshi make, the bolts in which they can affect with their transmutation magic (primarily elemental) and fire at range to mitigate the usual touch range of their abilities.

I never drew these two in their younger days, so I decided to use their FFX designs instead of the FFX-2 designs for the wedding day drawing. (The white flower in Yunie’s hair is just an accessory piece.) I ship these two so much! ❤ May you two overcome the ugly stigma of cousin/cousin relationships!

Anyone else notice how this scene REALLY implies that Rikku loves Yuna?

She seems really upset when Tidus tells her that Yuna “wouldn’t want to marry someone who wanted her to quit”, referring to her Pilgramage as a summoner. And Rikku wanted her to marry. And...Rikku’s life is centered around Yuna. And the hug scene between them later as she expresses how she doesn’t want Yuna to end her pilgramage. It just really seems like Rikku’s keeping up some kind of appearance expressing happiness for Yuna to marry anyone even knowing that Yuna would likely not pick her above the rest like Seymour or Tidus. Then after this scene, Rikku brings up how she wants children and would likely settle down with the first person she sees. This is probably where Gippal comes in in X-2, but she drops his like a hot potato when Yuna comes back in her life after the disappearance of Tidus in the original game. Wonder why? I bet she’s thinking she has another shot at Yuna. X-2 additionally expresses this love Rikku has for Yuna during their hand holding scene (because when 2 people have a hug and hand holding scene, you still have to explain to people that its love. lol) Rikku sympathizes with Shuyin’s dedicated love to Lenne by reflecting on how badly she wanted to save Yuna in the original game. You know, the origin of the HUG scene. Seriously, why is this relationship not considered canon on Rikku’s end??? Instead, Rikku X Tidus is because she told Tidus “maybe someday” to them getting together after punching him. Yeah, that’s all they have. Rikku can have her kids with Yuna, thank you all very much. This has been a fanboy rant, I appreciate your time lol.

For Rikku X Yuna Haters, I Give You This:

If you all see Shuyin and Lenne’s relationship as canon (which I hope to God you do, because they factually are), Rikku compares it to her relationship with Yuna while sympathizing with Shuyin for doing anything to save the one he loved. Seeing a connection? I thought so. And for the ones attacking me over this, you can back off because I have every right to state my opinion as does anyone else and to single someone out for their beliefs and back them against the wall is not only cruel, its pathetic. If you’re so worried about what other people think why in the hell did you ever get a Tumblr account? This website is full of diverse thoughts and opinions and if you don’t like that find the fu**ing door and use it. You don’t have to be here, you don’t have to read anyone’s posts, you can just find yourself a comfy seat somewhere else and quit being a cancer to this otherwise potentially friendly community.

Spread the RiYuna love! It concerns me that this shipping is below the boots of so many others that have less validity, and I want to spread the "awareness" (if you will) of this couple. FFX and especially X-2 are kind of lost in time at this point and will likely be until the possible new installment comes out. And because it is currently dead, this shipping receives even less attention. I just ask myself, "Why do people not even see this?" The other shippings floating about got so much attention, but why not this? Rikku basically confessed her love to Yuna by comparing Shuyin's passion to save his lover with her passion to save Yuna. Please spread the hashtag #RiYunaAwareness to get the word going, and the stereotypes surrounding cousin pairings to end.
