In FFVII Remake the Angel of the Slums leaves these calling cards:

And I'm looking at it and all I can see...

Al Bhed Script from FFX

And we already know there is at least an easter egg level connection between them through Kid Shinra in X-2 and someone wearing his mask in the Shinra Museum in Remake.

Like this kind of looks like a version of Al Bhed as it might have changed over hundreds of years is all I'm saying.

I have a whole worldbuilding thing going on in the back of my mind about this idea

Rikku Saw Through Spira Before Almost Anyone Else | Final Fantasy 10

What I love about this angle on Rikku is that it flips the way she is usually read. In Final Fantasy 10, Spira’s whole structure depends on people accepting the inevitability of sacrifice. That fatalism is so normalized that anyone who challenges it is treated as childish, dangerous, or impious. Rikku does exactly that anyway. She does not accept the logic. She does not romanticize the loss. She does not let tradition disguise the cruelty of the system.

That’s why her role is so much bigger than people give her credit for. She embodies the possibility that refusal can be wisdom. She does not overpower the world as it is. She finds the exploit that proves it never had to be this way.
