if i’m not mistaken, that quote was taken from el filibusterismo when rizal’s characters were talking about independence.
today was rough. it was hell, tbh. i had to stand for more than an hour during my three hour criminal law course 💀 i stayed up so late and woke up early to write notes and all that jazz and i still wasn’t able to properly answer any of my professor’s questions. i think more than half of what came out of my mouth was bullshit. it was horrible. i felt horrible. by the end of the period my whole body was flushed with anxiety and shame and i honestly just wanted the period to end. i almost cried ksjdksks.
but i shouldnt let it get to me 🥺 i felt bad and disappointed, yes, but i felt motivated???? this is a chance for me to prove myself!!!! im actually looking forward to studying more and being able to recite and make uo for my short comings today!!!! so wish me luck!! i wish the same toward all of you! dont let bad recitation days damper that fire in your heart, love. let it fuel you and empower you!!!! i hope you guys had a good day 💖 im going to go catch a few zzzs before i study again 😭🤪
