1. I know and use several sign languages. Irish Sign Language, American Sign Language, Gambian Sign Language, and I can follow the following sign languages: British sign Language and Auslan (Australian Sign Language) Auslan is quite similar to British Sign Language. (Nope, sign languages are not universal. Spoken languages aren't, and sign languages are bona fide languages of their own, as attested by linguists, so they are not just gestures to be standardised around the world.)

2. Lived for 3 years in the Gambia, West Africa, as a VSO volunteer working with Deaf and hard of hearing Gambians.

3. Worked for a tv show since 1996 (only taking a 3 year break, to go to the Gambia.)

4. Love making video blogs (called vlogs) on a wide variety of topics, having 5 youtube channels for various purposes.

5. One of the administrators of the Rizzles Rizzoli and Isles Fan Page Group.

6. Used to be a carer for someone living with Alzheimers.

it really amuses me that my cousin and I follow each other on here. she sits there blogging her rizzoli and isles stuff and I sit here blogging my supernatural stuff and we basically just ignore each other. but even though I don't get r&i, I always look at the posts she reblogs, and they always make me smile.

I hope I'm not annoying the shit out of you, Hannah :D
