[` he ignores the first two calls simply because he thought—knew—that sunyoung would expand on the cause of such a raucous interruption to the pleasant time he was having sitting on his couch, an empty waterbottle in hand, and a mind numbing reality tv show on the screen. sure enough, the reminder (and the profanity) riles up excitement within him, enough for him to set everything down before his long legs speed to the door, opening it with widened eyes. ] You can stop banging now, what if I had someone over—?! Hm?! [` of course they both knew it was a fluke, nothing more than a joke due to the unlucky nature he had when anything turned romantic. ] Anyways, are we going right now? 

( / the girl crosses her arms as dongwoon finally answers the door, head cocked to the side as she started to wait for an explanation from the other on why he took so long to deathly long to answer her ( at least he was awake this time, though ) -- but she's almost completely thrown off by his greeting, eyes widening slighly before she breaks out into a laugh; ) woonie please -- the day you bring a girl over and she actually stays is the day i'll streak around campus in celebration or something. besides, i'm the only girl that you really need in your life anyways. ( / a smirk appears on her features before she raises up a hand to flick the taller boy on his head before barging into his dorm unannounced; he should be used to this by now anyways; ) yeeeesss we're going right now, the sooner we leave the better, right? oh my god, don't tell me that you haven't even packed yet or anything? ( / sunyoung turns to look at dongwoon with a quizzical expression, because lord knows how long that would take him to do and she was ready to leave as soon as possible; )

42. A dry towel

"I think you’re going to need this."It’s not often he offered rags to people, but the poor guy hadn’t seen the wet paint on the bench and apparently hadn’t even noticed it yet. Having just come into the restaurant from apparently the bench that Hakyeon spent the morning applying a new coat of pain too, the customer now sported many green stripes across the back of his shirt and pants, blissfully unaware that anything was out of the ordinary. 

"What do you mean?" the man asked looking at Hakyeon, who smiled and pointed to his reflection in the window. "Now I can’t just let you sit in my chairs like that. Already have to fix the bench outside." He laughed and threw an extra rag to the customer "I hope I don’t find one drop of green in the building when you leave."

#39 ; a mug of hot chocolate and a blanket // au

when sunyoung woke up that morning, the right side of her bed that was usually preoccupied was cold, empty.

she knew that she had gone too far this time.

the argument that had conspired between the two last night was way more brash than usual — considering all of the elevated yelling ( mostly on sunyoung’s side ) and the attempt at throwing something ( also on sunyoung’s side, but was blocked by dongwoon ) she would understand why he wouldn’t want to be around him whenever they woke up in the morning. as she mentally went through the series of events that happened last night, she wasn’t even sure that she wanted to be around her own self, if that made any sense. sunyoung could only take the blanket and wrap it around her small frame at an attempt at warmth admist the cold room as she rose from her place from the bed, and into the rest of the apartment that she shared with her boyfriend.

upon reaching reaching the living room, the girl let out a sigh of relief to see that dongwoon was still in the premises — hair still unkempt and messy from sleep, just like his clothes it seems — but the silent stillness that seems to come from him ( sans the turning of the pages ) is unsettling; to most people it would give the impression that he’s simply enjoying some alone time, but sunyoung can read him like a book. he’s still mad at her, mad at the whole situation, probably. she wanted to remedy the situation quickly, but also didn’t want to overstep her boundaries, if possible. “woonie?” she called out, head only visible behind a wall as she peered at the man.

his silence spoke volumes and stabbed her like a frozen knife.

"dongwoon." she tried again, the hurt clearly evident in her voice, but he was intent on ignoring her, the only response coming from the flipping of a page in his book. was there even much to say, really? sunyoung wasn’t sure, and just exhaled softly as she passed him on her way to the kitchen, needing something warm to cease the cold that seemed to be growing through out her body, despite the blanket that was enveloping her. it didn’t take long for her to whip up some hot chocolate with marshmallows, and it took her even less to appear next to him, handing him the mug in her hands. a soft smile appeared on her face when he took it hesitantly, and sunyoung took that as a sign to wrap the blanket around him, leaving some space so that she could sit next to him underneath the blanket, cuddling up to him although he still sat there, stoic as ever.

"i’m sorry, okay?" the brunette said after some silence, resting her head upon dongwoon’s shoulder, "i shouldn’t have gotten as jealous as i did, and i shouldn’t have said the things that i said nor should i have tried to put the blame on you. i’m just… afraid that you’ll leave me for someone better." it was no secret that sunyoung’s self-esteem wasn’t where it should be, and that tended to get the best of her a lot of times. there was another long silence before the sound of the mug being placed on the side table next to them, and a muscular arm was wrapped around her frame not too long after. "you’re silly." was all that dongwoon whispered in her hair before the murmur was replaced with a kiss on top of her head.

that was all that sunyoung needed to hear.
