WRITING SYSTEM, +1 ACHIEVEMENT, IDOL ‘PROBATIONARY PERIOD’
This announcement is just to update our idol tier system. Like you guys, this is new to us and unlike our rookie and trainee parts that have already been embedded into the roleplay, we’re still trying to figure it all out, seeing what works and what doesn’t so please bear with us for the changes we make here and from now on. To further this point, we are looking at Rookies as a whole and will be changing things here and there, so please be patient with us.
So, as you’ve noticed by the title, there are certain parts of this new tier that has already been integrated, such as our writing system and requirements, among our idol muse members but from the suggestions we got, we realize that it may be a bit restrictive and limiting writing with the same people each month and have decided to modify the writing requirements.
Currently, we have it so 4/5 of the sets (2 threads = 1 set) are to be written solely with your idol group members’ muses and 1/5 could be with trainees of the same company or coinciding promotional idol group members.
From now on, starting from November’s monthly schedules, during non-promotional months we will be allowing 3/5 of the sets (2 threads = 1 set) to be with your group members while 2/5 of the sets can be with any company trainees or any other idols. This comes with the mandatory requirement that at least 1/5 of the sets written during the month must be written with your idol group members in order to obtain the points from either of the 2/5 sets with a non-idol muse.
Furthermore, when it is a promotional month, we will revert to the 4:1 sets among group members : same company trainee / coinciding promotional idol group members. Don’t worry, we’ll make sure to denote at the end of each schedule post what is allowed and what isn’t to help you guys out!
Hopefully, this makes it more flexible for everyone to write together as this is our main objective of modifying this!
In case that explanation was confusing, here’s a simplified breakdown:
3/5 sets are to be written with group members.
2/5 sets can be written with any idol and/or trainee from any company
In order to obtain points at the end of the month, a minimum of 1/5 sets has to be written with group members.
This change will begin starting from November schedules and will be approved come the November Schedule point verifications.
For those who do the above and beyond, and complete 5/5 sets by the end of the month, instead of the 2 achievements allotted in the Idol point forms, you will be able to gain an additional week for another achievement.
And another point to be made, while we aren’t entirely sure who follows this rule, we decided that it is also quite restrictive and interaction-limiting to have managers with you 24/7 whether on official outings and other; so we decided to change this, too. Rather than have managers with you 24/7 from here on out in the idol tier, we are implementing that the first 3 months of the idol groups’ career will be considered a ‘Probationary Period’ and is to be supervised by the manager such as whereabouts, chaperoning and driving to and from places; as well as spending most, if not all the time, that isn’t at official schedules at the company practicing.
The ‘Probationary Period’, in-character, is to ensure the company that the idol groups remain on their best behavior and avoid negative press and scandals that could tamper with both their public standing and promotional schedules. This is not to exclude that if scandals bought through the Idol Shop won’t be considered, as they can be bought and may be implemented during this period if your muse wishes to Spice things up. 😉
After the 3 months is up, the ‘Probationary Period’ will be considered completed and the manager will not need to be supervising the idol members’ whereabouts as strictly; but it will be known, in-character, that the idol member is to notify the manager on where they are going in order to leave the dorm. Unless the outing is an official schedule, the manager will not need to be in attendance for them to go anywhere.
