Flat whites are an Australian thing! They're very popular here, but they don't always have the pattern on top.

I thought so!! they’re getting popular here, i like them because they are really strong but not as gross as black coffee. technically we don’t have to do a pattern i think, just to have a marbled surface, but the patterns always impress the customers...until they dump a load of sugar in the middle and stir it!
