"you're my savior, you're not allowed to say no because well, you're not allowed to say no." Jongin said with a chuckle as he just saw Piper walking down the lobby all dressed up. He expected her to be relaxing after the mandarin class (at least he thought she was taking mandarin) but to find her there muse have been some kind of sign - a sign to leave the hotel. "I wanna go to this small restaurant off the hotel, would you like to come with me? I swear it's gonna be worth.", he added in English - he was just trying the new words he had just learned anyway.
Jeju Talent Show - Bae Suji Haru
KAT-TUN - SPECIAL HAPPINESS
She was definitely nervous and it wasn’t only because she would be standing in front of a crowd singing in Japanese. Yes, those were all reasons for the nerves and for the sweaty hands but because she had just listened to Jonghyun’s performance, she wasn’t able to simply ignore the smile and what listening to his words meant.
Still she was going up there, keeping her plans in mind and if she even considered that the song she chose was not planned to have the exact meaning, highlighted by his previous performance but still it would reach that goal in the end, Suzy would have probably backed off and opted for something else. But who was she even fooling? She wanted that, needed to sing that.
Walking up onstage after someone announced Haru would sing, she smiled, the melody starting and immediately she felt any doubt vanish on thin air as the words in Japanese started to burst off her mouth, a sweet voice singing the female version of the famous male group.
And just singing them it made her heart flutter and a blush cover her cheeks, possibly embarrassing herself in front of people that were guessing why she was feeling that way. They couldn’t know that what she was singing was directly to someone, her special someone and even if the place wasn’t the best for that, she wanted to make sure he would be able to listen to what she was trying to say.
Starting today, what kind of future awaits the two of us?
I don’t need anything special; just that you’ll keep smiling
Because I love you, I become insecure about everything you make me feel right now.
I’ll confirm your love when I embrace you, the moment you open your eyes.
Yes, it was risky to say the least but she was there and a leap of faith was all that mattered, all she wanted anyway. His words, sung previously during his performance were proof that whatever they were feeling was mutual and even if she couldn’t find his face in the middle of the crowd as she sang (and Suzy realized it was a bad habit of her, to never really focus on anyone in particular whenever she was performing , since school), she knew he was there.
And it was enough for her.
I wake up in the morning and life repeats again
Under the sunshine, with you in my arms.
The song was reaching to an end but she didn’t want to leave the stage, she wanted to be there for a little longer, enough for Jonghyun to be able to listen to it some more. Was he really out there? Her heart said yes, but she was still unsure.
Smiling to the people in the front rows, she bowed as the last verse slipped from her lips.
You’re my special happiness.
Suzu didn’t even listen to the applause, she had made the decision of going looking for Jonghyun. If he didn’t listen to her performance, well, she would have to sing that all over again. This time she wouldn’t let time or people to get in the middle of what they should have.
{ /still finding the idea of being stranded in nowhere else but the cold floors of the airport a little off-putting, willow roamed around the area dragging the overnight bearings provided to her in a listless fashion. her own luggage was already heavy enough to have in tow; she now sort of regretted bringing a suitcase for only a three-day trip, but it wasn't like she could still do anything about it. plopping down on a chair in the waiting area, she placed down her belongings on the floor before turning to a female just a few seats away from her, hoping a conversation with someone could keep insanity (from being stuck in such an inconvenient circumstance) at bay. } ah, such luck... are you supposed to be headed for seoul, too?
It's been brought to my attention that there's a mistake on the tally sheet- the "stuck in the airport" event should be +3 CHARISMA, not creativity! Those of you who participated (this should only apply to non-trainees who did the final special event) and have already verified your points can subtract three creativity points, and give yourself three charisma points to correct my error. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused!
