You know. For all the ways things have not gone well for him, I'm not sure this is something that appeals to him in terms of wishful thinking. If we're throwing wishes out I think he'd start by wishing his family to him — not to go out, but to bring them close, somewhere he knows is safe. Somewhere he can see them again. Instead of lost out where it is they ended up lost.
Assuming they are just lost, and not gone.
His perception of the world isn't very wide, and his exposure to stories and folklore that might name fictional places is limited as well, so some of this might be influenced by... he'd have a hard time thinking of a specific place other than the zones or the city. And he has no desire to live in the city, though he doesn't actually know what it's like in there, has no personal experience with it. He might wish for a world that isn't broken, or divided, but he doesn't actually have a concept of where that is, or what it's like. All he knows is the zones. All he could wish for would be a place in the zones where he's wanted, and where the people he cares about are. And he's already got that. He just wishes his family, his parents and sister, had that, too.
