[ This is a post to complement what’s already been said here! ]

KT Entertainment has shared their plans to launch an application featuring songs from their own artists through a rhythm game. Some of those plans also involve the recruitment of people to take part in the commercials. It is rumored that a few of the artists will also feature on these commercials, but nothing specific has been confirmed yet.

For those interested in auditioning for a part, the game announcement also came with a link to a form that must be filled out and sent to the KTEnt email listed. That form can be found here, and should be sent to the rkevent blog’s submit until midnight at the end of Tuesday, February 12th. After that, a new announcement will be made regarding the next step of the process.

          it’d been so long since she dyed her hair last   (   over a year, as far as she could remember   )   that seeing herself with lighter tresses felt odd. filming something else in the kt building felt just as weird   —   wasn’t the most recent time filming the videos for their debut showcase? a different year, a different lifetime ago, and yet there they were in the same building, in one of the practice rooms again and she was faced again with the idea that she’d been foolish to picture debut as more glamorous. she’d been slowly preparing herself, that’s true, but she wishes she spoke more to the girls about it   —   about how debut didn’t mean everything being picture-perfect and instant fame and how they’d deal with that. truthfully, she had enough of a struggle getting them all on the same page about where they are now, being content with it, and feeling comfortable or happy as they continue down this road. 

          the doubts they once had about being pushed forward to debut in order to compete with luxe were replaced with thoughts of wanting to be seen at all and she couldn’t easily comfort them with the more luxe did. the truth is, maybe they were intended to compete with luxe, but even so, even if they were, even if they can’t, they are eclipse. no two groups the same and especially theirs. more than being compared, more than being upset about not being on stage, ariel wanted to put their best selves forward and she couldn’t help thinking they can’t if they’re wrapped up in what already passed. with the commercial filming, their mv filming, and their 100th day as a group, ariel wants their group to be wrapped up in more happiness than they could dream of. they’re even filming on international day of happiness, isn’t that perfect? 

          even so, even with all the optimism she tries to pour out of her soul with each word and step, she’s nervous during the filming, missing the beat every once in a while as she practices the game, and she ends up clinging to haseul and sun more and more with each passing second. each tap and press of the phone builds up her combo and her confidence until she’s proudly tapping away with one hand, challenging herself to play as much as possible with one hand   —   not that she’ll openly tell anyone she switched back to easy mode to try it first. hey, she’s only using one hand! the game isn’t what calms her   (    in fact, it could be said it gets her more hyper and competitive than anything else   )   but it’s looking at each of her group members and the warmth of whose hand she’s clinging to now, squeezing lightly every once in a while and smiling brightly because she knows they can get through anything if they do it like this, as long as she has a hand to hold onto and more to love about all of them with each passing day. now, if only she could collect the rest of the chichi cards . . .

lights, camera, action

jaemin knows that it'd be a challenge to get donghyuck up so early in the morning. he already signed up him up for the audition without him knowing, the last thing he wants today is to have a grumpy lee donghyuck during the shoot. this would be a good opportunity for haech, to explore what other options he has besides singing. he knew that his boyfriend had so much potential, and he wanted donghyuck to see all that and to perhaps to spark his interest in the craft.

he made sure everything that morning was ready, what donghyuck would wear, a light meal they could have on the way to the shoot, and a gentle morning kiss to wake up donghyuck up. he liked to think that he did all those right, and he gives the older boy a kiss on forehead as he slid out of the bed and to get ready for their day ahead. he really hoped things would go well at the shoot, he wanted haech to enjoy the experience.

what they were going to do was not particularly demanding, perhaps just repetitive as the director instructed them to try different expressions for the camera. it was like a casting call, and jaemin had conditioned himself not to get impatient with these things. donghyuck on the other hand was not used to this. when they were given a few minutes between takes, he gives haech a light nudge, smiling as he gives his hand a squeeze, "you okay, haech?" he whispers.

「 another era 」

jaehyun had seen the script-- he was shooting with someone called johnny, who that was he didn’t know. in that moment he regretted not asking sunwoo who johnny was, that way he could probably have introduced him. jaehyun figured that if he hung around the basketball game at the arcade, mayeb the male would show up sooner or later.

while he was there he realized it had been a couple months since he had been at an arcade, he rarely had the time and with starting his new semester jaehyun had yet o find the time. ‘i just started my semester but i’m gonna have to quit...’ he thought to himself, grabbing a basketball. staring at the hoop, ‘if i make this shot i’ll quit university tomorrow,’ there was always a chance he could finish his degree later.

he took a step back and got himself into his position, taking a deep breath he closed his eyes. feeling rather serious all of a sudden, then when he opened them again he tossed the ball, into the hoop.

“i guess that settles that.”

the director called time once more, and yugyeom let out a sigh as he relaxed again. an arm rising over his head as he stretches out best he can. the school uniform he was wearing currently was amusing him a lot, the stylist who’d helped him get set up had been bemoaning about how it didn’t suit him. to which he wholeheartedly agreed with. but then she ended up telling him to untuck his shirt and loosen the tie a little, the jacket being left opened. it was almost like he was back in high school for real, getting told off for not being dressed properly. a smirk forms as his eyes land on dongmin, now theres someone who pulls it off. “yah, dongmin-ah. you still owe me lunch money, punk.” he called out, acting like the school bully he use to be once upon a time. his hands in his pockets as he moves over towards the older male. a comfort to him that they ended up in the same group even if they’re just extras. he’s actually kind of looking forward for the release of the commercial though because he’s never done something like this. cool experience to slap onto future applications, plus now he can brag he’s been on tv and shit.
