I really like this song (especially Ali’s version), and been listening to it for years, but I cant find the English translation of this song. Thank you so much. The translation would be “난 네가 행복했으면 좋겠어” , informally ( Imagine a friend or lover or family saying it ), and “전 당신이 행복했으면 좋겠어요” formally ( Imagine saying it to someone older than you, etc. ) You can also replace “당신” with a name, like “전 Anon님이 행복했으면 좋겠어요.”, where “님” is a honorific indicating respect.

EDIT : Ah, sorry, I may have misread your ask. The above translations are for “I would like you to be happy” , and if you’re okay with that, then that’s great! But for “I want you to be happy” , then it would be

“난 네가 행복하기를 원해” (informal)“전 당신이 행복하기를 원해요.” (formal)“전 Anon님이 행복하기를 원해요.” (formal, with 당신 replace with a name ) .

Sorry for the mistake! The wording is subtle, and I hope you can use whatever sentence you like to convey your meaning!
