"so, i just... shoot people?”
jeonghan stared at the screen of the computer, an eyebrow raised in question. this was far too difficult - too many fast-paced finger movements. the only time jeonghan did any fast-paced finger moving was when he had a four-thousand word deadline in less than six hours. he was a crammer writer, not a gamer. but all this hype over a game that wasn’t starcraft and dota2 - both of which were games he had played before, in his youth (he wasn’t hip enough to get with the times) - got him... befuddled.
and to think this game was from the same company who created those games in the first place.
days where jeonghan obsessed over relevant video games had long been over. he had no time to take these things seriously, and had settled into the comforts of shitty time-wasting mobile games like cooking mama and hollywood u. although the hype got him curious enough to ask around. not to mention the magazine wanted to do a feature about it considering the game had a wide female audience as well. which better person to ask about the allure of the franchise than a resident gamer geek?
“why is this called overwatch?” he asked, eyebrows creasing. “do i watch... over people? i don’t know, man. sounds confusing.”
