Charon doesn't have much of an opinion on it. Sure, it's strange, but what hasn't been in his life? He's had much worse holders to his contract and, if the worst thing you're going to do is own a body pillow that looks like him, he's counting himself lucky. Just don't make it any weirder than it has to be. He'll ignore it as long as you do.

Clover is actually kinda into it. She considers it an honor that you found a way to get your hands on a body pillow that resembles her! In her mind, it just shows that you care and maybe even love her! Although, she would've preferred that you'd just asked her to hold you at night. She finds that she gets a tad jealous over the pillow if you seem to be overly attached to it.

Star Paladin Cross feels the need to step in when she discovers it. Not only is it inappropriate considering she's your superior and was friends with your dad, but also because she finds it incredibly uncomfortable. She'll approach you kindly, trying to explain in the most professional way possible that she's just not ok with whatever you've got going on. You need to toss the pillow. There's not going to be a discussion about this.

Jericho finds it weird. He doesn’t do well with clingy or obsessive people, so finding out about this habit of yours raises all sorts of flags for him. How does someone even come across the means to obtain something so specific? And why aren't you using those resources to do something beneficial? He won't bring it up, but it definitely makes him look at you differently.

Butch is confused, to say the least. He’s tormented you for your entire life up until this point and.. you have something like that? Of him?? He finds it baffling that you could EVER find comfort in something that resembles him, even if he did make up for the past. He won't bring the body pillow up specifically, but you'll notice that he suddenly starts making jokes and innuendos about you being a masochist because he doesn't know what else to do other than assume that you are one.

Fawkes doesn't understand it, but he's not entirely against it. If anything, he'll feel a bit prideful about it. To him, it's as if you feel comfortable enough around him to view him as a source of comfort and, as a mutant, that's all he could ever hope for. Especially, from someone such as you. He won't tell you that he's found it, but you'll notice the shift in his mood as he becomes a lot more joyful afterward.

RL-3 decides that if you're going to go as far as making a body pillow of himself, then you should at least add the American flag as well. It's clear he doesn't understand what the implications are of you owning that, but he tries to make it about securing a stronger loyalty toward the country. Surely, you only own that because you have a certain respect toward America and its leaders, and it's something he admires greatly.

Fo3 Companions (+Gob and Sarah) With A Sick!Reader

Charon has pretty basic medical experience and can keep you alive, but he's not too excited about it. He'd rather just take you to a clinic and have you actually checked out to make sure it's not anything worse, but he's on your schedule and you're claiming it's just a cold. You'll manage, but it might not be comfortable.

Clover is so gentle toward you. She'll run her hands down your back and give you a handful of chems to ease the sickly feeling. She's no medic, so her main focus is just giving you things that'll keep you stable till you can find a doctor or start feeling better.

Star Paladin Cross has experience when it comes to soldiers falling ill on the battlefield and is probably one of the better ones on this list to have to help nurse you back to health. She'll go and grab a few herbs and plants, ground it up real quick, and all of a sudden you're feeling better than how you did when you left the vault.

Jericho just shrugs his shoulders and continues on his way. He's got no clue what you're expecting of him when you tell him you're not feeling well. Go to the clinic in Megaton? Just be sure you're using YOUR money, not his.

Butch panics a bit when you tell him you're sick, I mean, what's he supposed to do? All he's ever done was rough people up and cut people's hair, he doesn't know the first thing about medicine. He'll rush to find you a place to lie down, doing his best to cook something edible with the Mirelurk meat he pocketed on the way, but that's the most you'll be getting out of him.

Fawkes is so quick to find a doctor for you, or if he can't, gather all the medical supplies he has on him. He'll look you over and ask all sorts of questions about how you're feeling. He's no expert but he did read a lot of books while in the vault, so he's somewhat confident in his abilities. You'll be better in no time with Fawkes constantly doting on you.

RL-3 will tell you to toughen up and do 20 push-ups or something. There's no room for illness when you're fighting for your country.

Gob gets so nervous when you walk into the bar all washed out and pale, looking like you were going to pass out at any second. He rushes to get you sat down at one of the tables while he goes to grab you a wet rag to put on your forehead. He'll ask you a bunch of questions about how you got sick, or how long you've been like this before asking Nova to take you down to Doc Church's to get you looked at. (he's scared Moriarty will hit him for abandoning his post at the bar)

Sarah, like Cross, is well-equipped to handle issues like this, pretty much doing the same thing as her just with a little more charm. She'll try to make a few jokes and do her best to not make it feel like a boot camp while you're flushed and burning. She takes your health seriously and won't stop pressing until you start feeling better.

Fo3 Companions Favorite Past Times/Hobbies

Charon claims to not have any hobbies, saying that he "isn't focused on himself as much as he is his employer", but if you pay close enough attention, you'll catch the (somewhat) pleasant expression on his face while he cooks. He's always offering to fix something up for you and it always comes back perfectly made. The ghoul has a real talent when it comes to working over a fire and secretly loves sharing his expertise with your less experienced self.

Clover got really good at origami while enslaved. She used to sit in her cage and fold papers and leaves till they slowly began to form something tangible. It helped her stay calm in the times that mattered the most, and you'll notice her taking out slices of cloth and other bendable material and just folding them into wasteland creatures. She'll do it while waiting on you or in the middle of the night when she can't sleep. It helps keep her mind at bay while she tries to cope with everything she'd been put through.

After her accident, Star Paladin Cross took up journaling, deciding that she wanted herself and the rest of the Brotherhood to be remembered in an honoring and respectable light. She writes as honestly and unbiasedly as she can so that the people of the future can objectively tell what went down in the Capital Wasteland. She's incredibly consistent with it and is proud to be participating in the logging of the Brotherhood's history.

As surprising as it might be, Jericho has done a lot of reading throughout his retirement and will still crack a book open as the two of you start settling down for the night. He tries to play it off saying that "it's what all the other raiders are doing these days" and that he just wants to "keep up with the younger ones", but the slight glimmer in his eye when he reaches certain pages would make anyone question his reasoning.

Butch says that spending you're time decorating anything is a waste of time, however, every time he visits your home in Megaton, he's rearranging furniture and bringing in little trinkets that make the place feel so much more welcoming than it was before. He's got a knack for interior design, although he'd never admit that he enjoys it.

While trapped in the vault, Fawkes spent a lot of his time tinkering with the terminal in his cell. He learned a great deal about hacking while messing around with the device and is quite proud of his capabilities when it comes to fixing them! He'd be over the moon if you ever asked him to take a look at your own, it makes him feel valuable and important.

RL-3 is big on cleaning. If it isn't spotless, it might as well be torched. This habit of his most likely stems from General Atomics programming him to be self-cleaning so that he can take care of himself and keep himself up to policy standards. It's useful enough when it comes to messy areas, but you have to be careful if he deems it to far gone to be saved, he'll set it on fire.

Dogmeat loves when you hide things around your home in Megaton and ask for him to find it. It makes him so excited when he can sniff around and help you retrieve your lost rocket toys. It's like a game of hide-and-seek, and he adores every second you play it with him.

Fo3 Companions Reactions To You Being Sold Into Slavery

Charon gets really nervous when he hears that you've been kidnapped and will rush to try and prevent you from getting hurt. He might not show it often, but he cares a lot about you and doesn't know what would become of him if he failed at protecting you.

Clover is terrified for you and will try her best to do anything to get you out of that, even if it means selling herself back into slavery in exchange for your freedom. She’s already damaged, a little more can’t hurt her.

Star Paladin Cross wastes no time gathering a group of paladins and knights before coming to get you out of there. She'll immediately have the group take you to the scribes to make sure you're alright and to give you a break from everything you must've endured.

Jericho knows better than to pick a fight with slavers and will just end up buying you back. He'll berate you for getting caught but he's honestly just glad you're alright.

Butch has no idea what to do when he hears the news. He wants to help but he doesn't know how. He'll eventually settle on hiring a bunch of mercenaries and making this big, dramatic rescue for you. You'll both end up with at least one bullet lodged into your skin but the absolute excitement he feels when you're both finally in a safe location drowns out the pain and he'll give you the biggest hug.

Fawkes is so worried when he finds out you've been taken and will do everything he can to get you out of that situation, even if it means storming straight into Paradise Falls on his own and shooting up the place. You've gotten him out of imprisonment so he feels obligated to do the same for you and get you free again.

RL-3 isn't worried, you can tough it out for a bit while you wait for him to arrive. He'll start torching everyone when he finally catches up to you, though, and will salute you for your bravery.

Dogmeat probably ends up being taken as a slave with you, so you're both just sitting in a cage together. He'll growl when someone gets close to you, but that's all he can actually do.

Charon's more annoyed than anything. What's the point of hiring a bodyguard if you solo him both in strength AND height in this form? He thinks you wasted your money. He won't say anything to you directly, but when he scoffs and rolls his eyes when he first sees you. He genuinely thinks you're stupid for you to assume that he'd give you any more protection than you already give yourself. He'll follow you for as long as you hold his contract, but he's constantly thinking to himself about how you could do the jobs you order him to do and probably do them better.

Clover's a little scared of you. She hasn't seen very much of the world outside of her enslavement, but she's definitely never heard of someone like you. She won't voice it. You do own her. She's just very visibly shaken by your transformation. She's afraid to ask questions, mostly because she's not sure how exactly it works, and she doesn't want to set you off. Euology never liked it when she asked questions. So, she'll stay silent about her fears until you notice and reassure her.

Star Paladin Cross doesn't mind it as much as other Brotherhood members might, but she's still skeptical. You're abilities remind her a lot of the Enclave, and she can't help but feel off. She doesn't think you're a traitor, but she's not entirely sure you're not an experiment from one of their labs. She's incredibly suspicious about the entire thing. She doesn't mean it, but you being a werewolf puts a strain on the relationship between you and her.

Jericho loves it. His mind can't stop thinking about all the different things the two of you could get away with. You're way more intimidating in this form, and he can't wait to use that to his advantage. He may be retired, but he doesn't think his raider ways will ever leave him. Just know that if you're traveling with him, he's going to have you "influence" people in his favor, whether you intend to or not.

Butch thinks it's cool as shit, but it also leaves him very confused (and slightly concerned). If you could've done that the whole time, why hadn't you done so in the vault? He's PRAYING that you're not still upset with him for beating you that one time. He's a somewhat changed man now. Surely that means something to you. The truth is, you didn't know you could do it either. Not until you left the vault, at least. It had something to do with the moon and not being exposed to it until you were kicked. The explanation goes straight over his head, though. He's more excited about how different life on the surface is compared to below. He may even consider changing the mascot for his gang into something dealing with wolves. Who knows.

Fawkes is more ecstatic than anything. For the first time in his life, he's met someone similar to him and doesn't hate him for it. The other mutants thought he was strange, but here you are, a freak just like him, and you're not bothered by the fact that he's even slightly different than you. Not only that, but you're a scientific marvel! Fawkes has seen a few different variations of mutations in his life, but you're definitely a first. His curiosity will never not get the better of him, and he'd love to sit down and talk to you about it. How'd you become like this? Is it natural? Were you always like this? What are the limitations? You're endlessly interesting to him, and he loves that you chose him to travel with.

The moment RL-3 sees you shift, he turns hostile. While you're in your wolf form, you're an enemy to the United States, but the second you turn back, so will he. You're unfamiliar to him, so his programming only allows him to be aggressive toward you, but if you can find a way to work around those hiccups, he'll still operate as he usually does.

Fo3 Companions Reactions To You Moving Into Tenpenny Towers

Charon doesn’t care. Wherever you go, he’ll follow — even if it means your neighbors call him names and are constantly petitioning for him to leave. He thinks it's a weird place to ask a ghoul to come, but again, he's stuck with you for the long run and won't be going anywhere else anytime soon. I'd give you a week tops before you're run out by the other residents.

Clover is excited to be allowed to live in a fancy and well-guarded apartment complex and will give you no complaints about anything on her end. Some of the other residents will whisper occasionally that she's "dirty" or "used", but she doesn't ever let it get to her. The only time she gets verbally (or physically) involved is when someone else starts talking bad about you. Then you'll have to calm her down before she pulls the trigger on one of your neighbors.

Star Paladin Cross refuses to live there with you. Not because she hates it, but because she thinks the two of you could be doing better things than living large in some bougie hotel with a bunch of snobby rich people. Staying there doesn’t help anyone but yourselves and she’s very much opposed to the thought.

Jericho gets you both kicked out immediately after picking a fight with Millicent and pushing her husband down the stairs. He doesn't think living there was worth it anyway, neither of you will ever be able to fit into their community, you're both just too different.

Butch thinks it's kinda lame since it's pretty much just the vault but more stuck up. The other residents don't like him either since he's constantly trying to recruit everyone into his gang. Although, Herbert thinks the two of you are a hoot and loves telling you both about his previous adventures.

Fawkes isn't really welcomed there but he'll still try his best to try and make this work well enough for the both of you. He's an incredibly mindful roommate but, even if he's the perfect neighbor, people are still going to want him gone. The others will make up any excuse possible to get rid of him.

RL-3 will have a great time ordering people around and treating the place like a boot camp until one of the guards tells him to stop, then he’ll start to get a bit more hostile, saying that the “commies are trying to silence us again”. Don't invite him.

Dogmeat is welcomed and a lot of the people there adore him. Absolutely no complaints from anyone.
