When I think the Fallout Companions birthdays are (vibes only. Ignoring if they have canon birthdays) Fo3, FNV, Fo4 (NO DLC. If you want a DLC character to have an assigned birthday, comment):
- Clover. She doesn’t know her own birthday, but it’s the 13th of May. (Because 13 is unlucky, 5 is unlucky to me, and May is the month of spring- like a Clover)
- Jericho. He knows this but doesn’t celebrate. November 21st. (Because November is a dark month. And 21st because the vibes are there.)
- Butch. He knows his birthday and DOES celebrate. March 14th. (Can’t say why. I just typed that because it feels right.)
- Star Paladin Cross. Knows her birthday, celebrates the big ones (with 0 on end). It’s January 1st. (New Years Day is like stars)
- Fawkes. He doesn’t know his birthday, but he wishes he did. It’s December 21st. (Solstice, because it’s like a rebirth)
- Charon. Doesn’t know his birthday, doesn’t care. 10th of February. (A winter month felt right, and he gives 10 vibes. Probably because he’s tall. And 10 is a tall number)
- Dogmeat. Unaware of the concept of birthdays. Born April 26th. (My oldest cat was born that day, and he’s a loyal and brown and black coloured creature. Also dogs are spring animals)
- RL-3. Doesn’t have a birthday, but he was assembled on the 17th of September. (September is a neutral month, and 17 just feels right)
- Arcade. He knows his birthday and gets one shot to celebrate. The remnants normally get him a book or something. It’s November 9th. (November gives loneliness. And the 9th because it’s just the right vibe.)
- Boone. He knows his birthday and celebrated, but doesn’t now Carla is dead. It’s February 14th (Valentine’s Day. So it’s doubly sad. Carla, to me, is someone who loved special occasions.)
- ED-E. Doesn’t have a birthday, but Whitley used to celebrate his construction day, which was Christmas Day, December 25th. (This is because ED-E is the most special thing to him, and Christmas is something I can see the Enclave having)
- Lily. She’s forgotten her birthday, which makes her sad. She used to have parties in the Vault. She made everyone cookies for every birthday. Her birthday is June 21st. (Another solstice, a bright one. Also, a day of change.)
- Raul. He remembers but doesn’t celebrate his birthday. It’s October 30th. (Because he wears a costume, but for other people. Also October feels right.)
- Cass. She knows her birthday and gets smashed (wildly drunk) to celebrate. It’s 23rd of April. (The day that we believe Shakespeare was born. Her name is an old prewar story, it feels right that her birthday would be too.)
- Rex. He doesn’t remember his birthday, but the King celebrates it each year on the day he got him, July 13th. (I got my cat on July 13th.) Rex’s actual birthday is October 14th, (in honour of that being the day of the Battle of Hastings, and the death of King Harold, causing the word ‘Rex’ to be written under his corpse on the Bayeux Tapestry)
- Veronica. She knows and celebrates her birthday. It’s March 31st (March because of Spring, 31st because it feels right. End of the month, but not a substantial change- like how she can’t change the brotherhood, only her own future.)
- Cait. She does know her birthday, and hates it. It’s November 11th. (Because that’s a day of peace time, and she’s been forced to fight.)
- Codsworth. Doesn’t have or know a birthday, but he was assembled on March 9th. (A few months before the game, and also just felt right.)
- Curie. Considers her birthday the day she turned human, but she was constructed on July 4th. (The Day Marie Skłodowska-Curie died, and also American Independence Day. That bit was unintended, but it fits with the Vault-Tec ideology.)
- Danse. He doesn’t know or care for his birthday, but it’s June 28th. (Day of the Stonewall riots, so a day about accepting who you are.)
- Deacon. He knows his real birthday but no one else does. He always says it’s in winter, but it’s actually September 3rd. (September is a month of harvest, and his happiest time was on the farm.)
- Dogmeat (same as Fo3 Dogmeat)
- Hancock. He knows his birthday, but celebrates it on historical Hancock’s birthday. His real birthday is August 30th (this has no reason except it felt correct.)
- MacCready. Knows his birthday, but it’s not his real one, but rather the day he wound up in Lamplight. That’s October 4th. He was born on July 12th. (July feels correct, and the 12th because that’s how old he was as Mayor in Fo3)
- Nick. Doesn’t care for birthdays, but Ellie celebrates his (well, pre war Nick’s). It is December 27th. (Noir detective vibe kinda day)
- Piper. Knows her birthday, celebrates. Mentions it in the paper. It’s April 1st. (This is because I think she’s an April person, and a 1st person. Not because of April Fools day.)
- Preston. Knows his birthday, and used to celebrate with his now dead minutemen friends. It’s July 14th. (Because he’s my special boy, and that’s my birthday.)
- Strong. Doesn’t know his birthday, but it’s May 12th. (This just felt right.)
- X6-88. Doesn’t have a birthday. Thinks they’re stupid. He was created on August 29th. (The day Skynet became aware in terminator.)
