*something gives me real life feels*
Me: "what the hell is this!? I'm dead inside! I can't be having sad emotions! Be gone Satan!"
I just don't understand....
I told my mom that my day at school yesterday sucked, and went on to tell her about how one of my best friends has started ignoring me (as well as 75% of all my other friends) and started dating the guy who broke up with me without giving me a reason.
(When I was younger I was completely alone at school and lost all my friends. I was 10. I was without friends at the age of 10.)
Now, I'm almost 17 and I'm losing friends left and right because a guy broke up with me and is now dating a close friend. I'm losing friends for something I didnt do and have no control over.
So I had a mental break down yesterday and ended up crying for 4 hours. My mom came home and asked what was wrong. I informed her. She told me it has been two weeks and I need to get over it and just deal. That crying is over reacting. My mother told me that I was over reacting for losing my friends, for the second time in my life.
In some respects I agree with her, I shouldn't be crying over a guy. But that is not why I was crying. I had a break down because my friends, the people who 'care about me' and I am close to and I like being around with are SHUNNING me because he broke up with me. In what world is losing 75% of the people you considered friends ok and something that should just be dealt with? Because I dont see why it's over reacting for reacting the way I did.
I am fine with the break up. I'm fine with him dating my friend. I'm not fine with everyone tossing me aside now because of something I had no control over. Is that wrong? Am I in the wrong here? Why is it that I was the one who was hurt from the break up, but I am still the one who shunned and second choice to those who are supposed to be there to help me?
