does namjoon in your universe ever have a goofy/less serious side? does ji-eun appreciate that or thinks of it as immature?

I guess we have only really shown them in quite serious and/or smutty and flirty situations, so that side of them as a couple hasn’t really come to light (perhaps their less serious side so far has been best shown through really flirty moments such as in ‘Trouble in Paradise’ where they are joking about becoming members of the ‘mile high club’.) 

But I think they would both have a more playful side, especially as they both get quite stressed out by work. I guess it could go both ways where sometimes they would be too wound up from their day to really relax and have fun, but other times (especially when they go on vacation together), I think they could have some really silly moments. We have mentioned vaguely before, but I think Ji-eun likes the fact he is slightly younger than her for safety reasons (she feels more reassured with him), so she’d also enjoy that he still maintains a goofy side that she maybe doesn’t see as much in her day to day life among her colleagues and clients at work. While I think their relationship is going to get worse before it gets better, we would love to rewind a bit and maybe write some softer or goofy scenarios in future that take place before his enlistment.

Do you think namjoon would ever feel insecure/inadequate about ji eun having an advanced degree? Idols are not seen as a well educated profession in korea and had he not chosen to go down this path, he could’ve easily gotten into the top colleges and pursued further education given that his grades were in the top 1%. I often get the sense that he was the pride of his family and was quite unsure about becoming an idol, especially in the earlier years (2013-2015).

I think that while he’s generally very supportive of her career, there have been moments where you can see tension in their relationship when he tries to get too involved in her career choices. The huge argument in Boat Party is later revealed to have started when he questioned her decision to move companies. His concern was that she was making a mistake but, as we know with Ji-eun, she is very hot-headed and often lashes out when she feels backed into a corner or that she is being controlled or held back. Likewise, I think he is very aware of how women are often treated within large companies, and he is in equal parts jealous and concerned of her relationship with her boss, worrying that she might be taken advantage of. 

I always see Namjoon as someone who would resume his education later in life, perhaps becoming an academic teacher at a university. I do think he often questions whether he made the right decision, though I also think he recognises he would not have gained the experiences or traveled as extensively as he has if he didn’t join BTS.

JI-EUN IS SO PRETTY not that the others arent but I LIKE JI-EUN THE MOST :)

We are really glad you liked her. We took such a long time discussing the reveal drawing of (some of) the headcanon girlfriends as we needed it to fit how both admins imagined the girls. We hope you can see why each member has fallen for their headcanon girlfriends (obviously their personality and who they are is a major part too), but the members would also have a physical ‘type’ they are attracted to.

Ji-eun is someone we see as being really classy looking, both at work (as she works for a Law firm), and when she goes out she would really dress up. Of course, RM would find her really sexy too.
