The warm morning sun was just beginning to peak over the horizon when Eden stirred from her deep slumber. Slowly opening her eyes, she uncurled her slender body and sat up, yawning softly. The place she called home was a small burrow in the ground on the edge of Verdant Garden, far away from any Pokémon she thought might disturb her solitary life. The only times she came into contact with another Pokémon was when it was absolutely necessary, such as if they were trying to steal from her berry tree.
This tree was one that grew one of her favorite foods, Pecha Berries. It stood directly above her burrow, thus she had claimed it as hers the moment she had decided to make her home here. From that day on, she attacked almost any Pokémon she saw trying to steal from her tree. The other residents of Verdant Garden had long since learned not to venture into Eden's territory or else they'd have a feisty Snivy on their heels.
Today, she was in a particularly good mood, so she decided to go for a stroll in the nearby area. Before she left, however, Eden laid out her breakfast (consisting of a leaf full of Pecha Berries) on her sunbathing stone. Thinking that no one would dare touch her food, she continued on her merry way, humming an old tune she'd heard from her mother when she was younger.
By the time she returned, her stomach was growling loudly. She was headed for her burrow when she saw a figure leaned over her stone, appearing as if they were about to snatch her breakfast. Picking up her pace, she zoomed over and attempted to look as threatening as possible to the unfamiliar Pokémon.
"Hey! What do you think you're doing?!"
