Madam Harker… I have been victim to quite the situation, if you'll permit me to tell you about it. The topic is no easy one, forgive me now.
You had defeated Count Dracula. You had! I do not doubt you, I could never doubt you! However, I feel as though his death was not as permanent as we would have hoped. Two weeks ago, a pigeon was sent to my cell and it held his initial. I received two more notes from him recently, so I do not doubt he lives. As far as "living" might mean for him, that is.
You must know this. I feel required to tell you, if nobody else! Dr. Seward is aware, but I have no doubt he thinks me madder for it. I surely feel mad knowing what I know… You believe me, don't you?
I beg of you, write to me and assure me of your safety as well as your family's. If this really is him… Ohh, Madam Harker, please do write.
Hello Renfield. I write to assure you of my safety and the safety of my family. I truly doubt it is him, it could be some sick impersonator or a former creature of his that was somehow not killed. Even these I shudder to think of
.… pigeons… Jonathan has received letters from pigeons from his former business partner who he, I assume, has cut off corespondents with upon strange behavior.
Calm down, calm down, it is not true. It cannot be true. I believe your claims of what has happened but there must be some price of information we are missing in regards to this situation.
Jonathan is running to home now, he looks scared, I must go. -Mina
