!!! RM4 IS HERE !!!
I canāt be the only one who is loving RMās photo dumps lately, right Peachy? It feels like heās going to drop his album any day now.

Ask 2: Peachy, sorry one more thing! What do you think the theme of RMās new album will be? Do you think he draws any real music inspiration from the art and stuff he posts about? Will he draw from it in his new ep?

Oh, Iām absolutely living for it. Joon is such a sweetheart and sometimes it kills me that heās my bias because I struggle, genuinely struggle, to talk about him.
Which brings me to your second ask. Recently, a kind person from Tumblr (KPFT), sent me this link. I hope that snippet gives you a glimpse into what Korean art means for him and how it impacts others around him.
If you hear the way my Korean professor talks about Joon, youād think he parted the Red Sea and turned water into wine or something. But a lot of Korean people, regular people and those in the arts, have a huge respect for Namjoon because heās genuinely all about it. He loves Korea, loves Korean art, and wants to amplify the voices of Korean women and men. And the best part of it, at least for me, is that Iāve watched him for years to see how almost all his knowledge is self-taught. Itās a true passion for him and heās changed the lives of so many people (Korean publishers, artists and authors) in the process.
Heās flawed, obviously, like we all are, but everything Iāve observed in him for the last 12 years reinforces for me that heās a remarkably decent man.
I expect to see more Korean art influences in RM4. His photo dumps recently make me wonder if weāll get more retro genres or something more avant garde. Joon seems to have a preference for alt-hiphop with heavy bass lines like we hear in Joke and Sexy Nukim, but heās also a softie for stripped back acoustic pieces. I donāt know what weāll get but I do know it will be inspired by his experiences and the music will be good. As always.
From now onwards I propose we refer to Namjoon only as āsnarling Greek god beautyā.
