RMI: Renta Mínima de Inserción.

En la publicación de hoy, voy a plasmar cierta información que, seguro que en algún momento os habéis planteado, como nos está pasando tanto a mis compañeras de clase como a mí. Pues en este trimestre, estamos hablando en diferentes asignaturas sobre la RMI cuyas siglas significan: Renta de inserción mínima.

Pero realmente ¿Qué es?

Según lo que he podido comprender de la página de Madrid.org, se trata de una prestación económica que se ofrece de manera mensual, en función de la cantidad de personas que formen la unidad familiar, permitiendo satisfacer necesidades básicas, las cuales no es posible que puedan cubrir a través de un trabajo, pensiones o otras prestaciones de protección social.

Pero aquí, la verdadera pregunta que hemos realizado en la última clase de Fundamentos es quien puede acceder a ella y la verdad es que, pese a ser un derecho que toda persona tiene cuando no llega a cubrir ciertas necesidades, que asegura un cierto nivel de bienestar, según lo entendido, solo si verdaderamente estás en una situación de penumbra, podrás ser beneficiario de esta.

Es decir, si no tiene ningún tipo de apoyo económico, ni siquiera apoyo por parte de la familia, y si verdaderamente, el sueldo que adquiere la persona o la familia no supera o no es igual a la que proporciona la renta mínima de inserción, entonces, se proporcionará la ayuda.

Pues al ser un gasto para el Estado, no se les proporciona a todas las personas, salvo que verdaderamente lo necesiten y esto se debe, a que en tiempos pasados, muchas personas se beneficiaban de dicha prestación, sin verdaderamente necesitarlo.

Lo que opino en relación con esto, es que en cierta parte está bien que dicha ayuda no se proporcione a todo el mundo sin padecer un cierto nivel de necesidad. Pero, por otro lado, estoy en descuerdo en cuanto a que se proporciona, cuando las personas no tienen recursos económicos ni siquiera para continuar viviendo en sus hogares. Lo que quiero decir, es que se debe de proporcionar antes de que las personas lleguen a una situación, de extrema exclusión.
