« ♬ » — Jimin didn’t actually think that Mark would fall for it seeing as how sly and playful her younger friend could be ( maybe even worse than her at times); but he did it – a cheat combination in Mortal Kombat X that made one’s character kill themselves. Jimin shuddered and looked away both at the horrific fatality and at Mark’s screeching. At the same time, she was holding back her laughter, and once the bloody fiasco on the screen ended, all she could say was  ❝ Oops… ❞

「ӎ」┄   Mark’s eyes bulge at the scene before him, a loud wail escaping past his lips as he shook his head and gripped his controller. He couldn’t believe he just lost. In fact, he had no idea the older even knew of such a trick; he was both defeated but in awe at everything. Grabbing a pillow, he screams into it; muffling his sounds before squinting at the other. “ I can’t believe— “ He doesn’t finish his sentence, a lost for words. Even though he hated losing, he was actually pretty proud of his noona.

“Oh, no,” He whispered in a grim voice, eyes widening and hand holding onto a carving knife pointing dangerously at the front of Jimin’s body, indeed covered in pumpkin guts. “You have the evidence of this slaughter all over yourself now.. We need to run. Hide. The police is going to be here any time—do you know just what is the punishment for mass pumpkin murder?! ...I don’t. But I bet it’s super terrible.”

“Can you believe I already got a few Christmas offers via e-mail? Christmas! Meanwhile it’s barely the first day of October,” He threw his arms to the sides in a wide--or as wide as the small space made it possible--gesture of amused disbelief, head shaking slowly and a scoff escaping his lips. He was ranting, but he felt allowed to do so freely at the time being, and he wasn’t the one to pass on the chance. “I don’t even have anyone to really buy presents for, especially the ones that are being advertised as ‘the best gift for two’, or ‘perfect for that one special person’, so it’s even more ridiculous. God damn it, honestly. I like the atmosphere but the whole ordeal that is being made out of it is so annoying, that I’m really close to hating the season,” Rolling his eyes, he flicked the cigarette behind the car’s window, blowing the last bits of smoke out of it too, and focused back on the road ahead of them. “How are you usually spending Christmas, anyway? You have those pompous gala-like concerts, don’t you… Do you even get any time of those days to yourself? Probably not. Figures. Being an idol really seems like a terrible job to me.”

« ♬ » — She felt like some kind of stereotypical villain at the moment being unable to answer the question. No, it wasn’t an entirely alien concept to her but the question was too damn cliché to be taken seriously. Moreover, Jimin didn’t exactly know what kind of answer the younger lady was looking for.

Scoffing out her confusion, the idol adjusted on her seat crossing her legs and leaning her back against the support. ❝ Do you want the pageant family, friends, and God answer or the fucked up feminist and pessimistic one that mocks romance? ❞ She asked in hushed tones, conscious of their surroundings in fear of being heard spitting too many profanities in one sentence. She shouldn’t even care at this point but people can be fucking stupid and make a fuss about almost anything. 

She chirped the answer to playfully reply, she’s curious to what the other woman might say to a foolish inquiry. Love is an emotion, deep meaning and an overused word said by many. It’s the way she sees it, never wants to experience it a second time hence is why she’s constantly avoiding the possibility of such a strong feeling from within. 

❝Nah, nah I want the latter. I want honesty.❞ Hana questions if those who were pageants truly meant those words. Of constant promises of making the world a better place or a facade so no one figured out what lies underneath the layers. People are so manipulative it’s hard to see what’s worth trusting in this world now a days. Though it doesn’t effect her all that much, hands were cupping plump cheeks. Awaiting for what the older woman’s word, she’s eager to hear it and she doesn’t mind the honest input if there is one.

    Although growing skeptical at Jimin’s attempts of the past few minutes to attract the stray cat’s attention, Hyuna couldn’t help but to stay there, as steady and quiet as possible, and watch the tiny pet that seemed to belong to nobody but the streets. It had been long since the darkness of the late evening fell all around them, their impromptu stop somewhere in a quiet neighborhood, separated from the bustling of the city’s busiest lanes. Eventually, the tall idol squatted down—ever so slowly and carefully, as she didn’t want to scare the cat away and ruin whatever minuscule progress in taming the creature Jimin had made—and continued to observe the not very interactive interaction from that position, from a distance of a few steps away, and with a phone ready to snap a few photos. Even though the cat was more than distrustful and didn’t make much of an attempt of getting any nearer the extended hand, on Hyuna’s phone’s screen, due to the limited lightning, they were just two dark figures underneath the splash of warm, yellow light, and she found the picture in front of her oddly nice, somewhat magical—almost artistic. Uneventful as it was, it felt also quite worthy of taking a few snaps, Jimin cooing gently at the animal and the cat craning its neck a bit, as if trying to see if the daring hand was keeping a hold of anything to eat and considering whether it’d hurt in case the furry creature decided to step closer. It was a funny sight, definitely heart-warming too, and it took all of Hyuna’s willpower to not make a sound of delight at the sheer adorableness of it. Perhaps AOA’s feline-themed single gave her some powers of taming the actual pets, too—and she was as eager to question the fellow idol about it, as she was to keep still and observe the unfolding action in front of her.

✘ -- Any unpopular opinions about your muse?

Okay, since Tumblr deleted my reply and I totally forgot what I wrote bc my memory’s worse than a goldfish’s, I’m sorry if this turned out having different answers from the one I posted earlier-- An unpopular opinion I have of her is that she’s the asshole of her group. Euijin has the habit of rolling her eyes and side-eyeing everyone -- be it her own members, hosts, or MCs. If she doesn’t like someone or isn’t feeling them, she’s not gonna even try to conceal how she truly feels. In a radio show when SONAMOO was tasked to sing “Cushion” live, the main vocalists had trouble harmonizing and keeping at the pitch of the song, and Euijin literally gave the both of them an obvious side-eye. She isn’t one to sugarcoat her feelings, I feel. She may not be rude with her words and actions (although she kind of is to her members when it comes to her awful and incessant teasing/nagging) but she’ll show her annoyance with her expressions.

♧ -- Any part of their canon portrayal you dislike?

I’mma suppose this is something I dislike about Euijin...there personally isn’t anything I dislike about her- She’s my princess (along with the leader, Sumin) and everything about her I like. Her flaws are some things that I find refreshing to see on her and in the industry, but I guess one thing that can grind my gears at times is how rude she could come off. I don’t like rude people at all, though her way of being rude is just through her face. She doesn’t know how to control the looks she gives nor do I think she intends on doing so, hahaha. She’s still very nice and sweet despite that, though!

« ♬ » — It was a shocker to see the familiar male around these parts. It could have been obvious with the way she’s staring at him, and it doesn’t help either that he’s towering over her little five foot flat self. Of course, she knows nothing about what went down a couple of years ago nor does she care; but she’s genuinely a bit relieved to see him alive and well. She wished she could have been happier but she was never close to anyone in his former group even up until now. She wasn’t really one who collected friends nor initiates friendship.

Snorts escape her nostrils and she’s abashed. Shaking her head in her defense, she bows her head a few times apologetically.

❝ Sorry, you look okay. More than okay actually. People would usually use the ‘ghost’ metaphor and I’m slightly perplexed you used another unusual approach. ❞ She begins, a grin adorning her countenance. ❝ I’m in shock and I don’t know what to say. What do you expect me to say? ❞

Watching her bow and apologize reminded Yifan of the Korean formalities (even though her initial response was a rather amusing snort), and unconsciously, he straightened his posture. Although the Chinese community valued manners as much as the Korean one did, there were vast differences in their expectations of behaviours which often slipped his mind.

Thankfully, spending time with his significant other ensured he was always in line - except when he was joking around and perhaps, pranking those who were a bit of a reach outside his limitations. However, he hoped that the closeness between their ages would compensate for the lack of familiarity between the two, and continued to quip. 

“Something nice, maybe.” He chuckled, a hint of playfulness dancing across the curl of his lips. “Mmm... Like, no I was just admiring your shirt because your taste in fashion is so good.”
