I wanted to share this with the larger internet, bc I’m still losing my mind about it!

@crowsnestpress created a beautiful bound version of my FMA/M*A*S*H crossover A Recurring Nightmare with Popcorn and sent me a copy. Just getting a bound copy of something I wrote was exciting enough, the fact that it’s also a gorgeous piece of craftsmanship is just a bonus. 

The text design is really beautiful, especially for the chapter quotes, and the way that they aged the cover is just perfect. I will not be over this anytime soon!

Oh. I’m sorry. This was my girlfriend’s phone number. I lost her last year and text it sometimes when I feel especially guilty.

[phone] That sounds like a lot to unpack, man. Feel free to continue using this number. I don’t mind. I’m willing to talk about it with you if you need. No judgement. I know it’s hard to talk to a face sometimes.

Message from: [phone] You’re awfully kind for a stranger who just received a text like that. Thank you.

[phone] It’s no problem, man. Anytime.
