Grimmons but Grif recently ( after s15) decided he's tired of pretending to be emotionally repressed ,but Simmons didn't get the memo that it was happening so he's absolutely blindsided when Grif starts showing his emotions more -
ie: Simmon ( playfully ) insults Grif and instead of saying one back, Grif just looks ever so slightly hurt for a fraction of a second before throwing Simmons a flat look and saying ' Nice ' or whatever.
-- basically, that's what is going on in Fixing it. Grif is tired of pretending he doesn't want to cuddle and all that gay shit but Simmons has to be pushed into admitting that he would also like to do gay things with Grif.
