Feeding day for the roaches but Angel really just wanted to be held and stroked and petted upon. Who am I to deny my sweet sweet son?

Also there's a juvie dubia roach in my colony that I'm kind worried about. He's still real small n he's kinda lethargic so I'm gonna try n check on him better tomorrow. He could jjst be getting ready to molt but it's still scary :(

Pleasantly at the bedside, while it rains outside, I can feel the radiating warmth from the heater beneath the terrarium, it's nice

I bought more hissing cockroaches because I’m an adult with adult money and child like interests.

Saw a freshly moulted roach this morning, they all pretty much live in this tube recently and it needs clean so it’ll be fun tipping them all out

Figured I’d show off the lovelies in my dubia roach colony, they’re in the process of becoming an established colony and there’s only one mature male in there so might be a bit longer I built them a sort of cave/tunnel system out of cork bark and kitchen roll tubes so they’ve got more levels than just the floor and the floor has about an inch and a half of spider life bedding that they like to burrow in

Got up for some tissues and decided to have a peak into the dubia roaches and it looks like half of them decided the tubes are the place to be tonight Bad quality picture but the tank reflects the light but it’s cute that they’re all cuddled up together in the tubes

Cleaned out my dubia colony. They were good little roaches and get some tasty jellies that I made for them 💚

Got some smaller dubias to see how they all like them and to add to the colony Also I put some leftover omnigold balls I made for the blue tongued skink in and the roaches just absolutely loved it, they swarmed all over the dish
