Like I keep seeing ppl saying that roadhog was just doing business when he first met and promptly saved junkrat, and other sentiments that the comic was painting roadhog as some cold unfeeling tough guy, but I feel like that reading is extremely superficial, esp considering the majority of the comic consists of roadhog being full of bitterness and hatred and yet still doing things like letting kids he caught stealing from him run off unharmed, touching base with a friend he makes clear he considers a good person who deserves better, missing his home, protecting junkrat when he didn't have much to offer him, and thinking to himself that him and junkrat belong together. Those aren't actions of someone meant to be flatly presented as a tough, angry asshole who doesn't care about anything or anyone, its clearly more complicated than that
