Repost to remind ourselves: When you see them selling their farm produce, please don't bargain anymore. Just buy and help them go home early. These are the people we should help more..Malls are already owned by billionaires. #roadstreet #Vender #seller #mall #buyfromroadside https://www.instagram.com/p/B21v6OqAKWh/?igshid=14x4ss1tch7uz
KEONG SAIK ROAD
Keong Saik Road is a vehicular road in Chinatown, Central Area of Singapore. It was named after Tan Keong Saik, a Malaccan-born Chinese businessman and community leader, in 1926. Part of the Bukit Pasoh Conservation Area, which gained conservation status in 1989, the road has many shophouses of distinct architectural styles. It was also infamous for being the site of many brothels in the 1960s. Today, most of the brothels are no longer found there; instead, it is the location for boutique hotels, eateries, and offices. As of 2013, a blog site claimed that only 2 of these brothels remain.
