So, I know that with this show it's almost useless to try to predict what they are gonna do next, but hey, January is still too far away and I need to write down a theory that I have in mind even if it wil probably stay just a theory. 😅
If you remember in season 5 episode 13 the authors gave a lot of emphasis on young Kevin's paint: he said that his acting teacher told him that that was a good way to try to express his feelings; then adult Randall asked Kevin if that was a thing he was still doing but no, Kevin didn't do it in a long time.
In season 3 episode 18 Kevin told Tess one of the most famous speeches of this show:
We go through this life slowly but surely, just collecting these little pieces of ourselves that we can’t really live without until, eventually, we have enough of them to where we feel whole.
Now, at this point it's pretty clear that Kevin and Madison's storyline is following, more or less, the Jerry Maguire movie which its most famous quote is the You complete me line that Jerry tells Dorothy after realising that he is in love with her.
Don't you think that this line fits in a perfect way Kevin's previous speech to Tess? Because I do. And what I think it could happen or what I wish it will happen it's to see Kevin painting for Madison and giving her a beautiful love speech because he has finally found his missing piece. Maybe he will paint something less "chaotic" because he has found his center or maybe I'm just reading too much into it but well, this is my headcanon for them. ♥️
