The last three nights of our Spanish Road trip have been spent in San Sebastian. True to form the weather has been wonderful despite the city having one of the highest annual rainfalls in Spain - it must be on the plain, lol. Anyway, the city is known as one of the gastronomic capitals of the world, and the food is delicious (if a little expensive). For us, we loved the views from the two hills at either end of the Bay of La Concha. La Concha Beach has recently voted the best beach in Europe and 4th best in the world. There are 2 beaches in the bay, the other is Ondarreta. But wait there is more. Across the river is another beach, Zurriola. This beach is known for its great surf, and judging by the amount of Australian accents we heard, they agree.
